Ive got the ND tackle S9 bite alarms and receiver which are also USB rechargeable never had a problem with a charge there last for a good six months before they need recharging
Looks nice, but my alarms last on 2 great AA batteries (and I do mean premium) for roughly 1 year of work with weekly use (sometimes even week long sessions). If they last for at least 2 weeks of hard work, then they're good for me...
I'd prefer to stay with removable battery powered alarms. Imagine being on the bank and you forgot to charge them, you're screwed. Not to mention the built in batteries will degrade over time, which will lead you to buying replacement bite alarms sooner than you originally would have. The battery will also degrade over time and slowly not hold as much charge, until they break Maybe if the rechargeable battery was removable so i could change it when it inevitably gives up in a few years.
I do think there nice alarms but I’d like to have a device something like an app or digital receiver where you can see the battery life of the alarms ….
You didn’t express how long the unit last until you need to re-charge, and if it’s running out of power will it slow down the noise level or just stop.
I’m dubious of these rechargeable battery alarms. I just do t trust batteries to hold there charge as the life will always be decreasing and then once the batteries dead then what do you do…… I hope they offer a battery replacement scheme and keep it going for years instead of till a new alarm comes out. Think I’ll stick to putting standard batteries off the supermarket shelf in mine thanks atleast I keep spares while I’m fishing 😂😂 I know it’s all about being a seal unit…… but why do they need to be nowadays they just cost the pcb boards to protect them, could submerge the head in water and still work tbh……. Why I love ATT’s lol after have them all….ecu, delk, fox, Nash….nevilles you name it, most reliable and use no battery at all 🤷♀️👌
Love UK-made, love compact, but this charging thing is fixing a problem that doesn't exist. AA or 9V PP9 battery alarms last a good year+ for most casual fishermen, and even if not, most carry a spare for swap n' go. No waiting for something to charge. Shame, I got excited by UK-made - this smells of a product designed by some techy guys excited by charging circuits and USB 'things'....but who aren't actually fishermen
@@WolfWatchTV In those 40 years, how many times did you sit at the bank and think 'If this alarm battery dies right now, I'd much rather stop fishing and wait for it to charge than quickly pop in a spare battery from my bag and get on with my day'? At first glance I was like "cool, I can charge it" but then you think again and realise it's a step backwards. I guess you could charge after each session to avoid that, but again, that's another 'thing' I have to do after each session. I'd rather just simply carry a spare. Like I say, I like a lot about these, but the price must be inflated due to this pointless charging circuit/port. I hope I'm wrong because I'm all about UK-made.
@@inSaNe_44 yeah agreed there, but why not try something new. We don’t need just another bite alarm to the market so I’m all for trying it 👍🏻 especially covered with a 5 year warranty!

the worst thing that can be in alarms is the built-in battery
True. Just Another thing to put into charge. Grrr. At least make them solar power.
With a 5 year warranty I wouldn’t worry! 👀🙄

My ngt alarms from amazon are still going strong second winter for them this year

Lithium batteries will die in the cold weather!! not fit for purpose!
@@lookbackfilms6268any battery is discharging fast in cold weather... But fish won't bite in cold weather. So taking a break anyway.
@@inSaNe_44Yes they do 😂
Won’t be long until Fox n Delkim do the same
Nothing new, several companies already doing this.
Hope not.
Nice jacket i want one
Ditto
They're assembled in the UK
no made in the uk the pub boards are all built in our factory here as well as all the rest

500 hr batterie life and you will get notified that your alarm is running low

Agreed....no wonder he couldn't see the LEDs...and then didn't bother to show us close up...lazy script writing for what, another 30 secs of time?
He didn’t show the usb car key fob they use to charge these things , and £130 rrp no thanks
rip is not $130

Wolf don't help themselves by selling cheap tat power banks and other accessories. It cheapens their genuine quality products.
Theres no such thing as a cheap tat power bank. Lithium is the same quality in every powerbank, you just get some that have an overstated capacity.
Yeah because the have a shelve life.... Money makeing nothing more..
Not good .. Just Another thing to worry to put into charge .. Better make them solar power .
Perfect for winter when you have long dark days 🙄👀 a rechargeable batter will last infinitely longer than solar!

Ugly as sin and rechargable, no thanks.
All rechargeable batteries can only be recharged so many times then there no good
thats why all rechargeable alarms are very cheap
Also got 5 year warranty 🤷🏼♂️
