Hey there, fellow cat enthusiasts! I'm thrilled to take you on a journey through the pages of my new book, "How To Pet A Cat," in this special video narration.
I struggled with how to present it - like should I be in it, or maybe just in parts, or a small circle talking head in it - but when Kodi hung out with me the whole time, that settled it. I had to be in it and show him by my side the entire time. He actually seems really interested at times and really listening to what I'm saying. Awwww, hoozagooboi indeed! And even the part when I say Kodi was on Evan's lap, then Kodi got up on my lap! Ha! Though you don't see her, Shorty is just off to my right sleeping like, well, a queen.

It depends on the cat. Last year I was visited by a cat-loving Internet friend and his sons. One of the boys is autistic. He saw my Tozy sitting on top of the scratching post, walked up, and enfolded him in a big hug. Most cats would have fled. Tozy just purred.

Sniki adopted me when he was 4 years old and came from an association. I don't know his past.
It took him more than a year to become well social.
Everyone says he has impressive softness. He must feel good.
He sleeps on me every night, or during naps.
He is very nice but remains the boss of the apartment.
He is red and white, a so-called "common" cat but of course he is the most beautiful to me.
He is now 8 years old, more than 4 years of Love, the real one, between the two of us.
Lots of purrs and kisses from the 2 of us, from France.

What a wonderful book. I was listening and smiling and mumbling to myself without even noticing. We live on another continent and none of my family and friends speak enough, let alone read, English to enjoy or give to their kids. Sadly.

So true. People need to know how to scare cats, so the people will not want to hurt the cat. Yesterday I found out a neighbor is extremely afraid of cats, to the point she harass the building manager to catch a nice feral cat that sometimes walk into the building. I told her that if she walks into a place where the cat is, to speak loud and in a high pitch. They hate it. For the good of the cat, he should run when next to her. So sad, because if they catch him, he will die. He hurts nobody, just lives in the grass, since he was a kitten. This week I saw a coca cola can flying towards him.
Might get a copy for the niece and nephew for Christmas!
