I like the General's expressions and explanation on who we are. Yes, we are definitely People with Salvation the full salvation only can see when we respond needs of our fellow being.

This conversations are needed, we do not need to shy away from it. Thank you General and Commissioner for bringing up this topic. Our humanitarian services are borne out of Christ love , not out of the want or lack of people. We need to recapture the vision. The professionalism of our services are good but we are drifting by the dictate of these professionals. And I believe we have Salvationist who are Salvation people who are professionals that can be used.

Let’s not be just “another humanitarian organisation”. It’s the love of Jesus flowing through us that sets us apart. This is Gods calling for TSA.

Nail on the Head, I've been involved with TSA since 2018, I've met many Officers and Soldiers, not a lot share their Salvation Story.
Yes they do great work, so professionlisim is getting in the way, I think.
But the more I watch The General and listen I'm seeing His and Hearing His Heart.
So it always starts at The Top Brass, and I'm truly amazed He is a Kiwi, if the clouds are the dust of God's feet, Then listen carefully to The General who is from Aotearoa The land of the long white cloud.
He has walked up and down our Nation and for such a time, He's called a Kiwi. Think about that.

Thank you General. Salvationists world wide need to recapture the vision of complementing salvation of souls and humanitarian services. Our dear founder prayed, " If my officers and soldiers fail to have the fashion and the compassion for souls...
We really need to have the fashion and compassion for souls as well as for meeting human needs.

Wise & very true words from the General. The SA (or any other Christian organisation)| should never let funders tell them that you can have the money to do the work, but we don't want the Gospel.
