@toddthezondalover645 so what; this car without a cage, no rallying seat/harness straps, helmet etc, losing control and hitting a tree at 130+kms/hr would probably be fatal.
No, Mom the Imprezas are the one getting used and abused. You know, street racing and stuff. A legacy is like a normal everyday grocery getter, no need to worry.
clicked on "one last video" at 1:30 am... was not dissapointed, this was some of the best 6 minutes of entertainment i have ever consumed. legendary driving, and great job filming it
It's crazy how removing the fuse for the traction control from one of those can make them that fun When you're able to control the car this well, that is
i only drive my z with the traction off now after finding that vdc button. maybe i’ll take the fuse out one day to really turn it off but even with the button off it’s a major difference
@@sopretty43vr Yeah unfortunately in my Impreza it's not the case at all, it only deactivates it below 25 mph And the wheels do spin faster than 25 mph when I slide around in a snowy parking lot so it still activates
@@sopretty43vrcheck out some forums on it, but in my Xterra even with VSD off it still intrudes. I suspect Nissans are similar so pulling the ABS plug, or put switch on the ground wire in the abs harness is how you get true raw vehicle.
I just bought my first Subaru, a 2022 WRX, about two months ago. I've only played around a bit in the snow and in a gravel lot, but you have really inspired me. Rally and dirt racing are my favorite kind of motorsport, and I really should just find some unused dirt lot somewhere and learn what the car can do... you are driving an old Legacy with more skill and precision than so many guys out there who mod their WRXs to death and barely know how to let it drift. Hats completely off, I'm envious of that road you're playing on!
Man you know that road is properly properly graded, that’s gotta be the smoothest gravel road I’ve ever seen, that thing would be catching air from bumps in backwoods Kentucky
That's some great confidence throwing a stock subaru like that at those speeds on such a tight gravel road. I am in the point of my life where I would need rollcage, bucket seats and six point harness to do that irl, I just don't have the craziness and heart in me anymore to do it without those, I guess that's why I invested in higher end simsetup lately.
Brotha, you are driving faster than a lot of entry level rally drivers. Please get a cage at least. We don’t wanna see you die. One mistake and it’ll be catastrophic.
As much as I hate to use the word "underrated" in a RUclips comment, the Legacy is quite possibly THE most underrated sport sedan of all time. I doubt most people even consider them a sport sedan because they are low on power without a turbo or 6 cyl engine, but they have upper tier handling and driving dynamics. Definitely considering picking another one up now that prices are what they are.

I would

Exactly, I can only do it in sims. In a real car I'm passing on this kind of activity.
Its pretty easy when your used to it, been drifting for the last decade and I was at ease doing this my first year
i do this in my workute lol
Upshift is easier than Downshift 😅
