Met and worked with Bun E in 1992. Amazing guy! Great Guy! Was a pleasure to work with him. I liked Cheap Trick before working with them, I loved them after working with them. They are the real deal.
I met Cheap Trick in Ann Arbor Fall 1978 at a bar they walked into after performing at U of M...true gentleman, bought us burgers ands beers and gave us a bit of swag...a true class act...
I've had the pleasure to meet Bun E. twice and he is a great, down-to=earth guy. Very, very nice and he thanks you after he signs an autograph. They are ALL great guys and they flippin' rock!
Wow, I've been a huge fan of theirs (especially of Bun's) since In Color, and this is the very first interview I've seen with just him. Thanks for posting it. He sounds like a great down-to-earth guy with lots of great stories to share. That being said, I sure wish this interviewer would have tapped in to some of that.
Bun is so cool. He goes through roadies so fast he numbers them, doesn't call them by name! I don't remember which number Anthony Castiglioni (spelling? sorry Ant) was, but he got to go to Austrailia with them many years ago. I was 'Vern Pittenger' (one of Bun's garage bands for fun only) for two gigs before I moved to Carbondale in 1993. Hope to see Brad and play some more bumper pool someday!
They should have been in hall of fame, geeeeezzzz look at the others that hardly deserve it. Good Grief who does the voting?! Lets vote that group out!!!!
Bun E. smokes on 'Go For The Throat (Use Your Own Imagination).' One of the greatest rock drums performances. Check it out if you're just getting into Trick.....
I like this guy even more after hearing this. Makes you feel like it would be fun to hang out with him.
Bun E. Carlos is 1 of the BEST drummers EVER.

Bun E. is frighteningly humble. How is that possible?
I have met them twice and all 4 were super nice and funny.
That's awesome.
man! cheap trick just amazes me. so humble not like other bands... nice

He is one of the only guys I have seen who seems to play equally well either left hand or right hand setup. I thought it was camera work at first.

Mr. Carlos ordered my custom ludwig kit
He seems like the coolest guy out of all the Cheap Trick guys! :) The least "cutup type" that is. :)
World War 2 was a horrible tragedy, but Cheap Trick NOT being in the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame is worse!
No longer will you have to worry!
Yeah.thats some bullshit.
Just saw Cheap Trick but Bun was not playing. I hope he is ok.
is bun e carlo still in chap trick
@mse1576 most likely he's remembering where his roots lay.
Michael Moore, Is That You?
@Bellyflops2 He is breaking from Cheap Trick for awhile and is only performing part time.
How come Bun doesn't act like the typical rock star who thinks they are holier than thou? Very refreshing.
on down low......that's not what i've heard. comment is from one year ago & things change.
