Sometimes some guests just seem to be there to promote and that's it and don't really seem to get the show.
But Chester and Mike seem to legitimately enjoy being there. Very cool.

Like me last year. I was depressed for a while and very few people noticed because I put on a fake smile. It's a good thing I didn't end up killing myself. I just wish that Chester would've been as lucky as I was :(

It’s very easy to put up a mask and hide your true feelings just because you feel like it will be a burden to others.
Depression isn't about being "sad" all the time, it's way more deep emotional pain and hopelessness and you aren't sad and depressed all the time. Which is why it's so hard to understand for someone that has never experienced it and so shocking if people leave suddenly... probably wasnt so sudden for him..

I hope you guys see all the wonderful comments about how awesome it was to see Linkin Park on GMM instead of all the hateful ones. This was great. Thank you guys. I had a car concert on the way to work this morning and remembered how much I love it when Linkin Park gives me goosebumps.
What hateful comments? I don't see any. Have they been deleted? I can't stand their music or take them seriously as a band, but everyone has different tastes. They seem like decent people. I hope nobody was making unfounded personal attacks.

I don't know why I never saw this episode but this was likely one of the last videos of Chester smiling and looking somewhat happy. This was aired 1 week before his best friend Chris Cornell took his own life. How quickly life can take a turn and 180 on us. It was nice seeing this side of Chester one more time. R.I.P. Chester! I am glad you are no longer suffering

Again, this was so devastating to me. Chester and Mike are what got me though some real difficult times as a teen and altered my life. And now this? It's just so upsetting. Please everyone, if you are having issues tell someone. Tell your friends, your family, strangers on the street. Just talk to someone.

5th anniversary of Chester's passing and I just found this episode! I've watched gmm since almost the beginning but somehow I missed this episode!?! But I really needed to see this on the 5th year anniversary of him being gone and am crying both happy and sad tears miss you man!

I find it kind of shocking that I've been listening to them for 14 years and I've always loved their music but I'm just now starting to fall in love with these guys outside of their music. The more interviews I watch, the more down to earth and amazing they seem. Would love to hang out with them

I remember really liking LP around 2000 and listened to them a bit more throughout the years, and some of Mike's solo stuff. Haven't thought about them in quite a while though. Really have a newfound respect for them. They seem like really genuine, nice people.

@Forrest Robles well said! And this is exactly why I'm so proud of the other guys for the way they remember him. They celebrate his birthdays, make funny montage videos of him goofing around, telling funny and heart warming stories about him... all positive things. That's what he would have wanted.
