So many different creative vibes going on here. 80s synthwave, Bruce Springsteen storytelling, singing like a raw hall and oates song. This is awsome. The song continuously gains more energy as it progresses
I think Camron is a true artist and poet, no wonder Brandon Flowers (who i also have made respect for) asked Alex to help write their new album. It is such a treat when two artists you love get together when you never thought it would've happened. Its like introducing a new group of friends to another group you just met but then find out they have been friends since before you knew them
So what's this song about? The POV is a rockstar who's leaving to go on tour, but the stanza that starts with "I could put you to sleep just by reading" shows that he actually cares for his stepdaughter. What I think is that the singer is actually her dad, but he's telling her she can call him her stepdad. He calls himself her dad, and only tells her that he's her stepdad when the newsline are complaining about her, or if she thinks he likes leaving. He's her dad and loves her, but he has to leave to make music but if she ever wants to deny he's her dad he's saying she can. It's super sweet.
Love the this. It has the raw synth sound of Jumping the Shark, but with a bit more finesse and production details from Forced Witness. I'm hype for the EU tour
Remember I told you, “Demons are real. They’re not in your head. I saw one in the hotel room. It revealed itself to me. It had a red angry smiling face. It wore a robe. It stayed there for about a minute. Then it’s head floated away from its body and it faded away…”
I wanna like this track. I'm smelling that 1st album sort of rawness, but the synths are overkill for me at the moment, if they were diluted and tinkered with a bit more I'd think it'd fit with a wee bit more ease. Alas. Still love Alex and am excited for this album. Wish he truly was my step dad. My step dad was cop. Love you and Roy 🍒❤️🍒

the only reason this doesnt have more views is because this vinyl has been on repeat in my place since it came out.
These song themes are so creative, modern, and relevant. Thank you Team Al Cam.

So am I, it’s really bringing back a Miami Memory
Esto suena tan clásico y tan fresco a la vez. Alimento en tiempos de tanta contaminación auditiva y mediática.
I'm gonna start working out.

DO IT. I lost 60 pounds on a random whim. It was hard fought. But you can do it !!

This
some speakers make the synth sound really harsh while other speakers of mine it goes over a lot smoother. Love this track though
I felt exactly the same when I first heard this track. Now I love it exactly how it is.
This album is gonna be a mixbag
fantastically sad, futile beauty
