Hey fellows, I agree that that particular pine is very pretty. I like all the different shades of color. We just got my mother's ceiling in her new house completed. I got some #3 grade notty pine. It turned out looking Awesome. Thanks again for a Awesome video and I look forward to the next one.
I jumped when I saw that log drop. Scary. My birthday is May 4 and I will be 72. Guess that makes me 71 until Saturday. It's my sister, Ann's birthday too. Go figger. Happy Star Wars Day.

Boy..............I sure wish I was there in person to see, smell and feel those logs being processed. I have been with you for a while but I still enjoy watching you videos. I was just one click away from buying my own mill. I will have to live the dream by watching you. I still live in a forest but it belongs to the state. Good to see ya!!!!
Log yard isn't as full as Jasons but getting there and the Bus Motor WAS liking that pine but the Bus Motor likes anything. Log ended up with a nice center enen though it had been sitting for a while. Thanks Mark and crew and Happy Weekend. God Blesss Yall!
Hi Mark & Eddies & it's is Randy and i like yours video is cool & Thanks & Mark & Eddies & Friends Randy & Boom Boom Boom Boom Boom Boom Boom Boom Boom Boom Boom Boom Boom Boom
Four o’clock in the morning having breakfast before I pick my friend up and go for his new engine , thems nice pine boards I have some pine boards for a new trailer floor there drying out a bit at the moment , anyway you guys have a nice day
That log looks like it stood dead or laid on the ground for a while but still made some good lumber. Thanks for the video. “Master dog, just because we can” 😂
Hello mark And Eddie, its been a while had to get things fixed my kidneys have failed so i do dialysis , anyways its good to see your working those are beautiful boards take care and see ya next time
It's a shame nobody grows these trees properly anymore. Few places had them done right (most for naval purposes) and that's all she wrote. You're supposed to force the tree to grow without limbs towards the bottom. Get on a ladder, cut the limbs, make it grow tall and limbless right up until the half line (almost). This then yields clean knot free wood. Pretty straight trees too as limbs are why they grow crooked. It's not easy, and it's a thankless job in most cases. But like grandpa said "you grow your trees as a child, and you harvest them as an adult or gift them to your children." I kinda bypassed that with Paulownia trees. I grew them for 20+ years and am now harvesting them, growing the next lot in the same place the old ones fell (cause it's a mad tree that will grow from a single root - worse than bamboo if you don't want it).
You guys remind me of a couple of good old boys like in the Dukes of Hazzard with a little comedy skit such as the Blue Collar Comedy Tour with Larry the Cable Guy and the rest..
Thanks for sharing this video. Did you remember to retrieve the turtle? I recommended this channel to Matt from his Diesel Creek YT channel. Today he posted a video clearing land for his future house. He harvested several tall ash & cherry trees. Not sure it there is a possibility of inter-channel synergy. Wishing you and Eddie a blessed weekend. Peace brother
@@markgalicic7788 Good to know... if I ever slip my leash and road trip I will plan accordingly. Everything is suddenly green here in NE Ohio. Wishing you and your family a blessed weekend. Peace brother
White pine was gold in north Central Wisconsin through the 1940's it's all Grandpa sawed with an occasional hemlock mixed in. He wanted me to tell you that you did a fine job.... White pine is hard to find in our area now. Certainly not like it was around 1900.
I'm curious if you saw Cedar and Fir logs? I'm from the Pacific Northwest and you can't throw a rock in the forest and not hit either species! Love your channel, very relaxing to watch.
Fugitive ZZ Cool Hand Mark Chronicles: Buzzy is now trying to say you made him give you his phone at gun point to get out of his state run luxury accomodations for aiding and abetting a wind-sprinting fugitive. You should modify the mill by adding a secondary "mr Chewy" further to the right, that instead of using ripper teeth uses the track from one of those cheapo import mini excavators. That way, you won't nick the wood when you're done cutting a face into it. The rubber track's knobs should be more than sufficient to rotate the wood. In theory, you could get one of those excavators second hand and use the entire track as is and its hydraulics to operate it.
While I like this idea, I don’t see how the juice is worth the squeeze. I can’t imagine those nicks are causing enough waste to substantiate the purchase of another ‘chewy’ to use a track-style system. But, I don’t run the mill. 😊
I noticed at the end you have some carpenter bees behind you in the video, better take care of them before they multiply. They did some damage to my barn roof purlins and eaves over the years before I took care of them.
@@williamsharp7224 I see you’ve never had a carpenter bee infestation or you’d quickly change your tune, they can do significant damage to wooden structures.
Home from hospital guys, had heart attack, left w/30-35% heart function. Could be worse. Watched your videos while in hospital.
