I think we saw the birth of more turtles on this video than ever before. Thanks for sharing this snack video. Hopefully the weather cooperated with your time at 5he equipment show this weekend. Safe journeys. Peace
Nice job I'm never bored with your videos , I check for them every day. You should make a new pointer for your indicator dial.A nice 1/8" steel rod one that goes past the lines like 2" long.
Two o’clock in the morning being distracted by you guys doing my invoices having a brew with boiled eggs, doing paperwork is one of my least favourite jobs these are last month’s invoices , anyway you guys have a nice day
A snack is always good. I'm also ready for a full meal now (actual food). I was working in my flower beds and it rained just enough to mess things up. Owell. Bill
Things don't Yakking. snacking. jawing and sawing. Things don't get much better than that escecially with the house band in full tune and good friends all around.
Hello enjoyed your video. Your sawmill very good your a excellent Sawyer and I know I asked before but can you tell me again why your cutting from the small end. Nice lumber have a great day.
Relative noob question here: You seem to usually cut dimensional sizes (2x4 actual 2"x4" etc.)...do you ever get orders for "board foot" sizing, e.g. a 2x4 that actually measures 1-1/2x3-1/2, etc. like for framing lumber?
It took a little work to get the ugly off but you did a good job. It was nice to see that you had some helpers there today. I am still unsure of why I like you so much. I guess some things never grow old.
A Nasty Spruce Snack video? While you're out enjoying that fine festive fair food cuisine at the National Piker Steaming, Horse Meat Grilling, Hoyt-Clagwell Tractor show, eating those yummy fried sawdust cakes.
@@markgalicic7788 All the parts on that Hoyt-Clagwell are called thing-a-ma-bob, do-hicky, or whatcha-ma-call-it, either large or small. Drucker had the parts list/book, Certified Clagwell Parts Supplier. The best one was when Mrs.Douglas fixed the Clagwell's blown head gasket with her griddle cakes. (Grill remnants less cakes, matched the 4-cylinder head block exactly)
If you can get clear spruce, it is AMAZING stuff to work with! Sitka Spruce is well known in the wooden aircraft business, used in wing spars as well as other aircraft framing structures, for about ever... As to supposedly finer woodworking, it is going to depend upon your tastes, not much hardwood to speak of in my area, so I grew up appreciating the variations and patterns in fir and spruce wood grain, while others prefer the hardwoods... Your mileage, as they say, may vary!

*- I enjoy seeing your skill to finagle tough logs to get out the stock you need, Mark.*
That first log would have been a good candidate for a trip through a sash mill.
You got some mighty lumpy logs to work with there.
You never stop amazing me mark the way you see the logs and what you need to cut off to leave enough wood to get what is needed. 👍👍👍👍
Good snack . That one pie of bark at the front of the saw , it stayed till the end .
If the saw is spinning there no boring moments
Nice snack video mark thank you

Another question...I know spruce is used in stringed instrument making, but is it any good for cabinetry/woodworking type uses?
As a builder. SPF is stamped on boards. Spruce, Pine, Fir
