Half past three in the morning that’s nice lumber coming out of a ugly log , nothing is wasted if you can make something out of it I’ve junk heep for usable parts , I’ve just finished brazing a cast iron table off an old router if I couldn’t repair it it was scrap I’ve now got it covered in sand hoping it doesn’t crack I’m still up keeping an eye on it , nervous time waiting for it to cool without cracking few hours of work wrecked in seconds anyway you guys have a nice day
Every time I watch a new video you catch me off guard it's funny to me move the dogs and there was a squeak the first time it happens on the video I hear it loud enough I look around and see what squeak before I remember it's just the dogs
This Saturday snack was so big I couldn’t finish my Saturday pizza. Well that going to work out great, another snack video for Father’s Day and I have some pizza leftover. My Father’s Day is going to be next Sunday as they have combined it with my 80th birthday celebration.
Good to see you!!!!! I am glad that you gave that log a chance to be good. I just finished removing most of the small stumps and brush pile in my low land. I tried to level the ground and then I sewed 50 lbs of oat seed. I just received my E300 Pecron so I can at least have a light and telephone when the power goes out.
I think he has a newer 4 cycle engine waiting to go in. Most places the POCO will severely punish you for taking this much power intermittently, you have to either run 24 hours or pay like you are running 24 hours
I must have missed the episode or failed to hear the explanation, but what and why is the “magic number” 22? I’ve watched a number of these and can figure out it’s when you whittle the can’t to 22”, but why is that a magic number?
What is the official bus motor snack to be eating when watching your snack videos? Are these not one of those appeTEASER videos? Given a jean jacket and jeans is called a 'Canadian Tuxedo,' was this a Canadian Notty Denim White Pine Yard tree?
you have the beware the dog singe up but man if your not looking for it you won't see it nor can you read it but it's up nonetheless Cheers nice vid as usual Cheers
FYI, I have noticed that blue laser shows up very clearly on the log. This is the laser color used by Helmsburg Sawmill in Helmsburg Indiana. This is especially useful on light colored woods like conifers.
Hi Mark. Beautiful white pine lumber. On your Father's Day Eve snack video. 😆😆😆😁😁😁😍😊😉👍 Then the Indonesian sawyers saw everything up to 3 inches. On thier smaller circular potable sawmills. Then up to 12 inches & 5 ft wide tree logs in thier bandsaw sawmills. Of course. They have saw dust, irregular slab wood & thin cut offs waste. They have a market for the irregular slab wood & thin cut offs. Not much of a market as thebsaw dust is used. Say Hi to Ed & ZZ for me. 😍😊😉👍❤️💜🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🌲
At least it is not a "naughty" and unhappy one. As is normal, it is great to see you all in operation and everything sounding fine, firm and in great tone.
Grandpa says "You can always turn ugly sticks into gold with a little know how and patience" He thinks you did really well here. While you were cutting lumber we have been cutting and making hay. Sorry Mark, we have to catch up this week, I'm a couple behind. Your Friday video will become a Father's Day treat for Dad and Grandpa. Thank you Mr. G. And happy Father's Day to you and your crew too!!
Happy Daddy's Day for tomorrow guys !! Blessings to you ALL !!
thanks John.
I watch you every last day! God bless you all! I wish I had THE's job!

My favorite even if knotty
I really like the patterns in this log and lumber. ❤❤❤❤
thanks Karen.
HAPPY FATHER'S DAY ZZ I didn't know you were there
This is nice white pine, even though it's weathered. I suppose people use it because they like a weathered, rustic look.
yes it's easy to sell that way.
*- Mark, this video was knot entertainment.*
good one lol.
Great video, as always!! God bless y'all!! 👍♥️🙏
thank you.
Good video Bus Motor Productions

yes for sure lol.
It's a great read, it feels very interesting, I wish you good health and your work will develop
Every time I watch a new video you catch me off guard it's funny to me move the dogs and there was a squeak the first time it happens on the video I hear it loud enough I look around and see what squeak before I remember it's just the dogs

Hi Mark & Eddies & ZZ Mark & Randy and i like yours Video is Cool & Thanks Mark & Eddies & ZZ Mark & Friends Randy
thanks Randy.
There's an old adage about sow's ear and silk purses and the process of turning the former into the latter. Believe that's what I've witnessed.
it worked out ok.
You made that naughty pine look Good!
not bad for a ugly log.

good evening Rob.

The snack satisfied the hunger👍
glad you liked it.
👍👌👏
thank you.
I haven’t watched for awhile so I was surprised that I could see the laser so well. What has changed?
we got a 50 mw laser.
I finally see the Lazer 🎉🎉🎉
glad you got to see it.
I liked this one. You guys really embody having fun at work. I am beginning to like the “Snacks” better than the main course! 😂
thanks James glad you liked it.
Do you know any taxadermis.? Some of the off cuts would make good back boards for mounts.
that's a great idea Travis.
looks like you need to sharpen that battery operated chain saw or get a more powerful saw
it's all good it had a low battery.
Why knot?
Good to see you!!!!! I am glad that you gave that log a chance to be good. I just finished removing most of the small stumps and brush pile in my low land. I tried to level the ground and then I sewed 50 lbs of oat seed. I just received my E300 Pecron so I can at least have a light and telephone when the power goes out.
thanks Alan , that's a good power pack.
How long before the Bus Motor needs overhaul?
not sure it still wakes up and runs good , we would like to find a spare one.
Any chance that you will switch from a diesel engine to an electric motor?
I think he has a newer 4 cycle engine waiting to go in. Most places the POCO will severely punish you for taking this much power intermittently, you have to either run 24 hours or pay like you are running 24 hours
no sir Doug.
Question, can that saw blade cut cumin and a going? 🎉🎉
I have asked this question before, and they cannot. Blade and saw are designed for one way only
no sir.
Snack time boom!
yes sir Mark.
The top saw is missing
I must have missed the episode or failed to hear the explanation, but what and why is the “magic number” 22? I’ve watched a number of these and can figure out it’s when you whittle the can’t to 22”, but why is that a magic number?
That is the depth of cut for the saw blade
It also refers to how wide a board can pass on the conveyor belt.

Perfect. Thanks for the link!
Thanks guys.... I see where knotty pine gets it's name :) Made some good lumber tho
thanks Barry.
Mark, you have your # videos screwed up. This says clearly #561 but it should be # 571. If you go back to #560 its actually #570 and so on.
you have the beware the dog singe up but man if your not looking for it you won't see it nor can you read it but it's up nonetheless Cheers nice vid as usual Cheers
thank you.
have you ever had a log come loose from the dogs while sawing and cause a problem?
no sir that would be very bad.
I have The log hit the saw then the edger it flew back around 25 feet into our hyd room. It was a bad day like mark said lol
FYI, I have noticed that blue laser shows up very clearly on the log. This is the laser color used by Helmsburg Sawmill in Helmsburg Indiana. This is especially useful on light colored woods like conifers.
That is to help the red/green colorblindness that troubles so many men.
Nice piece of wood once to cut away the exterior
yes it turned out great.
Ohhhh, a happy little snack victim 😅
for sure lol.
now mark that log is so ugly that when I came home and showed it to my wife she ran the other way ha ha happy father's day
thanks Mark.
@@markgalicic7788 she wouldn't even let me take it to the beaver ha ha
