Hi Eleanor great video , was some nice bits of kit there . Must agree with Dan the plough is the answer to a lot of things, they didn't plough for all those years for nothing .
Hi Eleanor, it was nice meeting you and your family today on the Spaldings show stand 20.540. Pleased you liked our TMC CANCELA mulchers. You will be pleased to know I have liked and subscribed 👍🏻
@@berkshirefarmgirl I remember when the countryside alliance did the demostration in London 2002 ,the Newbury show was on that weekend,That show is a fortnight after ours in Herefordshire
Evening Eleanor Such a shame about the mic 🎤 issues, hopefully you can soon resolve the problems, that said, it didn't detract from the content Love Dan's knowledge and his opinions Was that mum appearing a couple of times, brilliant. Looks to be a fantastic show and very well attended You looked at the bale grab/lifter, have you tried the MX grab, know Joe Seels swears by them, just wondered how they compare to the ones you use Thanks for the upload Take care all Back UK Farmer's 🇬🇧 Geoff
@berkshirefarmgirl thanks Eleanor, honestly, the sound didn't detract, I just felt gutted for you, gone to the trouble of upgrading your mic's for them to let you down. As a non farmer, it always fascinates me, the volume of different manufacturers, and models in farm machinery, especially tractors, and yet different farmers praise 1 machine over the others, but for different reasons. Most go on reliability and after sales back up. So I'm alway looking for comparisons especially from the likes of Dan who's got such vast knowledge Thanks for the reply Take care Geoff
Designers try to 'invent' a new style of putting seed into the ground but at the end of the day the plough is king. Plough, cultivator , harrows, seed drill. Some of the 'one pass' seeders depend on such a large and powerful tractor that compresses the ground,, which slows down the time the seed takes to sprout, and also makes the fields like a compacted cricket field where all of the rain runs off into ditches and away from where it is needed. Keep it simple, works most of the time and in most seasons. Good video as usual, well done

Dan is correct ,there is a good reason why the plough has stood the test of time
