The word itself scares a lot of people at the top ; managers or owners of businesses for various reasons. This speech shed light for those who wants to expand and grow, why and how to do it! Great points!
This is just fantastic. I am learning to hire and delegate. I am currently escalating my 2 small businesses and at the same time starting a third company. I feel kind of tired and stressed since I was a one man doing everything by myself. I believe that if I can go through this challenge with a team, I can become plentyful. My next start up is in an association with my partner though. Thank you and greetings from México.
Thank you! So strange my first horse as a child was a thoroughbred! I named him Sundance. Been through some horses since I was a child. I now work for a Co~Op. how you described the donkey is how Is precisely how I feel I daily. I am using this theory on my boss tomorrow. I already know they respect me and my work ethic. But you have taught me a concept to relate to. I love you thank you. As I say this I’m meaning how I can describe the donkeys. It’s a much nicer way then I would describe them.
I do not know how to email or contact you. I just am so thankful to finally have a person in this world that is speaking the truth. I feel so relieved I found this. I just would like a way to contact you or someone that is in the same brain trait so that I can have a little help in some struggles. I will pray for y’all. Please pray for me.
As soon as you mentioned "Chick-Fil-A" I was almost out, then I thought to myself, "Man, this guy is really making some good points here." Thank you for the lesson.
Thanks for this comment. It saved me 10 min of my time lol I find that alot of these videos don’t actually provide any real instruction on how to effectively delegate tasks, it’s just clickbait to talk about other topics that might also be important, but not exactly what folks are looking for. Much appreciated.
The right people in the right seats?! What about the right business structure (transparency, clarity, focus), with the right cockpits, then train the pilots. Over time make sure that your system does not go beyond 80-90% or you will damage your “business engine”. Let your pilots improve the cockpits so the business gets better and the pilots get better, too. Turn pilots into leaders capable of repeating the success story. Finally, use the River Diagram so that as the number of businesses grow you continue to learn as a group. Always remember, the system has properties which its parts do not have.

Thoroughbread & Idiots is what I'd call them rather than Thoroughbread & Donkeys. Donkeys are some of the most hard working animals in the animal kingdom, they are obedient & do what they are told.
I wonder what he would say about companies chronically asking salaried workers to do overtime. 50-60 hours/ week on a routine basis is not healthy for most of us.
According to all online sources I could find, Dave Ramsey self-reports that he employs between 500 and 1000 people. If he has 50-100 new hires every 90 days as he claims in this video that means he has a churn rate of 10% per quarter or 40% per year which would indicate working for him is a hell scape no matter how I can think of it. Is this accurate? From what I can tell, that at least means that either: 1) he exaggerated his hire rate in this video (he is a poor source of information and doesn't think things through before saying them). 2) he understates his employee count (not sure why he would do this). 3) he isn't very good at hiring people (so going to him for this information is a very bad idea). 4) people don't like working for him (so going to him for this information is a very bad idea). Every choice except #2 indicates something seriously negative about him. Am I missing something? I'm looking for a good source of leadership information and this is my first intro to David Ramsey and he seems to be a bad source of information even at a cursory level.
Let’s not forget, Jesus rode on a donkey. God made the thoroughbreds and the donkeys. They both have there purpose. So, while Jesus speaks about the three servants and the talents, does talk about firing a person when they simply don’t add value or aren’t loyal to your business.
I love the genuine ethical approach this guy is talking about. Great talk

Hey Osvaldo! How is the delegating going and your businessen!
Greetings from Holland
Delegation is key for success. Loved this breakdown. Cheers!

I’m going to need a lot more of this insight for this new role that I have accepted.
You keep me calm.

Oh thank you! I finally got to the end on my home tv. And I see now why I can relate to this thank you! Philippians 4:13 all day long. Thank you
Fantastic breakdown. I'll be applying this asap.
Awesome Stuff. I’ve been severely struggling in the hiring department
My a-ha moment: Dave DOES have some useful advice.
As soon as you mentioned "Chick-Fil-A" I was almost out, then I thought to myself, "Man, this guy is really making some good points here." Thank you for the lesson.
This is a decent smorgasbord of general business bromides, but not really instruction on delegation.
😅 agreed. Just talk. No education
Title is clickbait so he can tell you about building a team before delegating😊

What I learn here are develop a goid culture inside our team, get rid of the donkey, overcommunicate with your team and be loyal with them

Is this from a proprietary system of delegating/leadership?

This was great
Fantastic, thanks Dave 🙏🙏🙏
Great content in 10 minutes!
Thoroughbread & Idiots is what I'd call them rather than Thoroughbread & Donkeys.
Donkeys are some of the most hard working animals in the animal kingdom, they are obedient & do what they are told.
As long as you're micro managing them
Love the donkey and thoroughbred comparison!
Thank you for the upload ☺
Nice one
Lol it sounded like he said they buy weed and wraps for the 90 day thing 😂 listen back to it. Also thanks for good info
I have been a worker in restaurants and retaimoat my life why not lead I know this business why not now at 43
Yes! Go for it. Just do it.
How do I get people to care about the company?
What do you do if you work for a company who's employees moto is "Not just good, it's good enough"?
Can you properly delegate a right you do not have?
Kool

Don't worry I not interested in position.
What’s his name?

See "you wicked & lazy servant"
Put your 401K money into the S&P 500 (especially if you plan on not touching that money for over 15 years)
I left my job because I couldn’t deal working with DONKEYS. No one wanted to truly work and put in the effort to improve the company.
Hee Haw
This is wrong.. A real leader will delegate to anyone and they will deliver
