The boss design is imaginative, but the combat mechanics look unsatisfying as hell. Seems like this game would be a chore to play after a while. Also that final boss took the absolute piss.
There’s an unlockable good ending for new game plus. The scarecrow turns human and goes to live with the old couple but it’s implied that he turned (or has always been) just as evil as Jagodd.
For a very low budget title, I must say there's some nice visual creativity (a monstruous moon creating tidal waves as a weapon), but the gameplay is very limited - beside those basic attacks you can get chainsaws that last as long as you've got gas, and can make short work of the bosses and tear them to pieces. The screen doesn't even scroll during boss fights, so the action feels very cramped in some fights. The ending feels like a f**k you to the player although I'm now reading there's another, better ending.
Davide Mascolo i know your comment has just a year,but i think i found a better explanation for the ending: The Scarerow was aware that if he defeats jagodd,his powers will fade away,even those who keep the scarerow alive,so he made a sacrifice,just for protecting those who he love at least that's my opinion

Yeah, that is the bad ending. If you deliver the final blow to the moon with your chainsaws, you’ll get a Life Stone that will avert Kakashi from turning back into a lifeless scarecrow, thus netting you the true ending. (Although you will have to get the bad ending first to unlock it)
@Jack Holleworth You forgot a step, you also have to buy the death mask in the shop (which you pretty much have to save up for during the entire game since it’s 5000) and THEN get the bad ending to unlock the ability to get the good ending through the method you said
