Caring for our Veterans

The military gives much more than their time to help protect their country. Over twenty-six percent of living veterans have been diagnosed with service connected disability, and ten percent of veterans often return with some form of substance abuse. When they return, unfortunately it is often the case that they don’t have an experienced caregiver and their care often falls to their spouse or family. A common option is to go onto the veterans administration's website, however the response time can be long and can come with various other inconveniences. This is why we made ExtendaTouch, so that caregivers can help fellow caregivers anonymously and for free because we are all stronger together.
