Thanks so much for your wonderful painting tips. Those North and South Carolina moutains are my favorite part of the world. I love this painting and the beautiful fog!
Have you seen Don Andrews' and Cheap Joe mixing colors on the paper and not on the palette demo? It is an interesting way of letting the colors do the talking and blending, by leaving subtle nuances of both colors for the eye to marvel at their sedimentation capabilities, and not be just a flat tone with no feeling. I see you and other artists use the blending on the paper with the wet on dry florals...Would this work in this situation of fog and hills, or is that technique more effective only with larger page size paintings? Just curious!
It seems like an artist not sure what she is doing. Her specialty is a flowers, and I wasn’t impressed with the mountains fog technique. No feeling of fog.
Do beautifully done. I have paint brush ENVY!!!
Excellent. Thank you!
What a nice lady! Thanks for sharing these cool techniques.
