Oil changing and other additional protection for the track is following the old saying "Better Safe Than Sorry." When you ride in the rain, you must always have tires that are "rain ready." Ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure! Wear it on the street too! Honestly I'd rather fall on the track than the street. No opposing traffic and no cars and fewer obstacles to hit. Are you running steel braided brake lines?

@@JaBituteTM I’m no expert and there are positives and negatives for steel and rubber brake lines. New brakes (and tires of course) will perform better and give confidence.
