You build a house using only the first swatch right but then once you’re done you go into each room and use a random number generator and whatever number it lands on you have to switch every item in that room to that swatch. You can’t change the item only the swatches and see how it goes from beautiful to chaos

the knitting part could be for a special blanket for their new home, or clothes for future kids so cuteee even just knitting to relax and pass the time during preparations
Tbh this office building is giving me Art Colony vibes. My aunt used to do janitorial duties for a college campus who had taken up an old art colony, as they called themselves, for its off campus artsy and wilderness things. But generally speaking, the colony used to do painting, sculpture, arts and crafts, that sort of stuff.
I really enjoyed the random office build! This was so fun to me and has inspired me to make a “skill building/office space community lot” A rec center you can go learn specific skills at but in office format like this.
Okay I did the STUPIDEST challenge the other day and it made me think of you. I made a shell and a floor plan and then spun a wheel to randomly allocate whether each room would be a bathroom, bedroom etc etc. It turned out so stupid but it’s so fun

I think something like this would be super fun in game, I was thinking of it like a "community skill center" say your out of work (I know sims is blessed and can be whatever their heart desires) but for real world, you are jobless and you go here, to work up the skills you need and at the same time, you give back to the community, fx baking goods.

This reminds me a lot of the studio space my sister used to use. My sister is an artist and she used to rent a space to work on projects, and lots of other people rented spaces in the same building. It was in the city so most apartments didn’t have space for big art projects or a home music studio or anything like that, so folks would rent space there

I think it’s sorta like a mall, it’s a place wear people can just be, and they can go to businesses that rent out these offices - the comedy office is rented by a voice actor who was hired remote, and also maybe gives lessons - the guitar one is a small music production studio and guitar lesson studio - the dance one is like any other dance studio just very small - the baking one is just a bakery - the paranormal one is a little metaphysical shop where people can buy their own supplies and get readings or schedule seances and cleansings - the knitting one is a small passion craft shop - The nectar is just a like little shop for your special cooking “nectar” and expensive “nectar” -the painting one I’m not sure about maybe lessons or another art store Idk I just kinda took the vibes I got during the open non-office spaces and ran

my theory about this build: you know how for cooking (or just any) TV show there’s a studio/room that they film in (and even some RUclipsrs do it too) but what if this build is owned by a company that allows YTs to use the rooms BUT only one person gets to use it BECAUSE in order for you to use it you have to go through like an interview process (like you would for a job) & if you passed you get a contract that basically states rules & other important stuff;you are the only one whose allowed to film a video(s) in there no one else unless it’s a collaboration does this makes sense or is my idea just straight up ridiculous & dumb?🧐😂
the painting skill reminds me of those artistis on tiktok that do live paintings at weddings, it always looks so good
