you always try to explain every minor information of app making... these tutorial are highly effective not only for advance learners but also for beginners
I want to ask you a question. I did the same steps that you mentioned, but when I pressed build to try the code, the application wrote that there was an error.
Are you using the companion app or building an apk and installing it on a device? When did you get the error? And what were the exact words of the error?
These are the 3 global variables that you create yourself when you come to the blocks section after designing the screen. We have 3 global variables: firstNumber, secondNumber and operator. I have shown the making of them here 09:10
You mean in the video or MIT app inventor? If you mean video, then this is a two parts tutorial, so watch the second part to complete the calculator app. If you mean all the components are not showing in MIT app inventor then go to project settings and choose "expert" toolkit.
I don’t want my calculator to be scrollable. Secondly, i have used percentages in my layouts so the front end will look the same whether using a tablet or phone.
Link is in video description for part 2 but giving here too: Calculator App in MIT App Inventor (Part 2)| MIT App Inventor Calculator | MIT App Inventor tutorial ruclips.net/video/bCz9f-Ozv48/видео.html
Are you asking about the code? Most of it is in part 2 (final part) of the tutorial. The link to final part video is in the video description of this tutorial.
Do you mean use mit app inventor on mobile in browser? If you mean this then yes. You need one mobile to open up app inventor in a browser and another mobile with companion app installed to test the app.
Blame my slow laptop as it freezes when I am editing longer videos. If a tutorial can be completed in 15--20 minutes then I do it one video for example, my tutorials for basketball game, space invader game, weather app, pedometer, doodle app, etc have just one video.
What problem are you having? I have shared my AIA file too along with the written tutorial for comparison. obsidiansofteducation.blogspot.com/p/calculator-in-mit-app-inventor.html
Oh, ok thank you!. it was not showing well on my phone, but it works on tablets. Thank you for your help! I will just verify my code and check out this document..., It was probably my mistake😓@@ObsidianSoftEducation
