Do you mean that you cannot see the room "General" or the messages for the room "General". We make the rooms list in our code ourselves. This is done in Screen initialize event. Then, we have to set this filled list to roomPicker.elements. If the problem is with your messages for room General not being loaded then make sure that tag is being set properly. Tag is join of getRoomName and "Chat". you use tag while saving and loading. Verify that you are building the tag the same way everywhere.

The speadsheet component requires making a Google developer account, enabling the Sheets API in the Google Cloud Console, creating credentials, downloading JSON files, and linking them in App Inventor. This setup is more complex than using Apps Script. Hence, I went for the app script approach. I do plan to cover the spreadsheet component at some later time but I thought that I should start with the web app first as viewers are already familiar with it (I have used it for uploading files to Google Drive too)

Is your snake moving properly? If the only problem is with your snake eating food and game over conditions, then most probably something has been missed in your detection collision procedure. Have another look at it. The collision detection procedure calculates distance. One of your Ands in checkwinner procedure has only getCurrentPlayer in it instead of the = block. The if condition in checkWinner should have 3 = blocks.

Was it working fine before adding the getMetrics extension? I tried the app again but it was working at my end so cannot be an Android version issue as I have the latest Android. Try using a notifier's show alert block to see what is inside global variable width after setting it to getMetrics.widthpixels. Do tell me what happens because if there is something wrong with the latest version of extension then I will have to look for a solution. My code in my account is pretty old so there is a chance that the publicly available extension has been updated while my app is still using the older version of getMetrics.
