The only one with whom I was familiar was Robert Blake because I remembered him as Mickey from the "Our Gang" series. And I recall his legal problems with his wife.
When I saw "Terminator I I," I found Edward Furlong's character especially obnoxious. There is one scene in which a Good Samaritan attempts to intervene when he thinks that Arnold Schwarzenegger is abusing the kid. The kid rudely tells the Good Samaritan to mind his own business. Then the kid tells Schwarzenegger to beat the guy up.
The scene was meant to be humorous. I failed to see the humor.
I have never heard of the other child celebrities whom you mentioned.

It sounds more like a line he got from his mom. Maybe she told him “Be careful not to waste your life . “ Like it was drilled into him. Why doesn’t he show remorse for the mom . My best guess is , he was forced into acting as a kid . He was put into bad situations. As an adult he blames his mom , for what happened to him .

I used too watch Lock Up ah msnbc?
I watched this one dude's story it seemed he was 16 or 17 he not only murdered his mother he beheaded her.
He never gave the authorities the motive as too why he did it. His hair was cut and short like a small round basketball, He wore glasses he kept his hair short, he was white in fact aside from his head shape he sort of reminded me of the villain in the Jamie Foxx movie BAIT: not even the documentaries investigator's could get him too say why he murdered his mother that way?
Weird part he was allowed too get a pet so he chose a kitten that became a Cat and it lived with him in his cell.
He took care of the kitten when it developed little viruses that could of snuffed it's life out; No he didn't Kill his Cat.
I found out some intimates were allowed pet's to keep them calm; a minority within the Prison For Life without possibility of Parole, chose kitten's for pet's.
Though both motive's are mysterious I can't help think of this Psychological Thriller movie Andy Garcia did if it's up on ytube the name of it is either "The Unsaid" or "Unsaid" again Andy Garcia starred in the movie.

Not a fucking excuse for murder, and there are people and kids that murder people they’re not celebrities, and there are some children that actually can handle it because it’s been cases of it you act like all the children in Hollywood I like that no newsflash fame is hard on adults to there are people that start as an adults that have a hard time do you research You act like it’s just children no there are adult celebrities that had a hard time fame is hard on any age and nobody asked for fame they asked to have a dream and not all kids are being forced into fame there are kids actually want to do it I mean hell look at Miranda Cosgrove she’s a someone a child star she didn’t sit there and turn out like that Hilary Duff she didn’t turn out like that she was a child star Granted that they both had a good parents that actually supported them not push them and I think they were there for them when they came famous at the time. Hell Victoria Justice or Ariana Grande not a child stars have that, but does that mean they didn’t have it hard as a child star or with me now, but the thing is they wanted to dream, I mean nothing wrong with him chasing a dream long as they weren’t being forced but that’s not an excuse to murder somebody, so please stop making excuses for these murderers OK and excuses like that’s OK like oh because he did that you know because they were famous at the young age they didn’t you know it was too hard no excuse not a goddamn excuse There’s no excuse to murder somebody even if they were verbally abused that’s not an excuse Physical abuse that’s different I guess but verbally abuse. Yeah, it is and you know what though the only good thing about that well, not really a good thing because she has to deal with us for the rest of her life I mean, even with Therapy understand it’s still gonna be a hard, but at least Drake Bell up to it because you know some people do that shit and they would never own up to it she admitted he did it, and he own up to it I mean, does that make it right oh fuck now that’s fucked up and it saddens me because I’ve always been a fan and I’m still a fan of him you know of his work or not him personally because of what he did, but it breaks my heart when you grow up watching him and then you find out that he did some like that, but at least he’s taking responsibility for what he did and I have to work because he knows he’s gonna have to be late with the rest of his life and yet he has enough to it and she was traumatized for the rest of her life but I’ve seen a few cases where people do the grooming thing and they don’t own up to it they were so they’re fighting so they didn’t do it. Call the girl liar he didn’t do that he’s owning up to what he did and you know what to be honest Drake Bell needs therapy to because some people that do that stuff need therapy himself because sometimes they have a problem selves and I think maybe Drake Bell might need help to. He needs therapy with a girl needs more help because she actually had a live with that like that and that’s hard for her and my heart goes out to her Waymore than Drake Bell

You can’t force people to get help for drug abuse see, I hate when people make seems like that because they need help yes but you can’t force help on them. They have to want it and you have understand that they have to want to help you can’t force it, so stop trying to force help on them. They have to want it and yes, they made mistakes, but sometimes the drugs get to them and they want the drugs more And you have to realize even when they do get the help they’re gonna have a relapse it’s not that easy just a quit and there’s a reason why they started in the first place. Tell them deal with whatever is going on in their personal life you know they were trying to deal with so much out at the time, and they have to figure out how to deal with it without taking drugs but it’s not that easy just to quit.

You missed Lindsay Lohan and of course Dana Plato and Todd Bridges from Different Strokes! Bridges I believe has turned his life around but poor Dana didn’t.
I think a lot of the problems these actors face come from being ‘famous’ and all the attention, money and people telling them they are special eventually dries up because they got fame from being ‘cute’. As they get older the cuteness fades and the lack of talent as a mature actor emerges.
So they get dropped by their agent and management which is soul destroying and it seems that some of them turn to drugs and alcohol to numb the feeling of rejection and the realisation that their ‘best years’ are behind them.
There are, of course, many child actors that go on to be great actors, Jodie Foster for instance, and I believe there are many more who just grow up and become ‘normal’ and were lucky enough to have good people around them.
Although this list was long, and there are many more that could be added, some of them already mentioned in these comments, I would say that there are more child actors out there who are productive, successful adults, than ones that qualify for this topic.
Peace to all and happy holidays 😊

Life sentence in Canada is only 25 years unless you get classified as a dangerous offender (because killing people doesn't get you that by default). You have to be a Paul Teal type of guy to get that. If you are just the serial killer wife of a serial killer, well that doesn't count.

    What does this tell us?
You must have rocks in your head if you encourage your kids to get involved in any way whatsoever with acting or Hollywood.
That goes for modelling & the fashion world as well, these industries attract the cesspool of humanity.
Sadly so many young ones dream of making it big in acting & modelling.
Be careful what you wish for.

I disagree these kids are working for their family. Some of these kids work over 8hrs, they shouldn't but they do. And a lot of these kids are molested directors, writers and executives etc. Their parents look other way for money. I'm not surprised.

What if a child is hired for whatever acting gig and is provided someone on set to help them through their issues and problems. They’re living what we adults think is a dream life when in actuality they’re getting all screwed up. They’re unable to handle being someone else and not themselves. It’s bound to mess with their developing mental health. It’s sad that they bring us such joy on screen but they are having such a difficult time in their real lives. They really need someone to not only protect their money but they need someone to protect their minds and hearts. They’re kids for Heaven’s sake!!

Stop labeling them all meaning their child stars and didn’t lose it to fame or didn’t make crimes happen. You know people like you keep labeling like old child stores. This happens to know I mean it’s hard for adults to not just child starts. There are some adults that start as an adult that struggle with fame no matter how old you are it’s gonna be hard even if you have some big ones said it doesn’t say help I mean some child stars they wanted it and they didn’t know that would happen and the parents of the parents to know that would happen to them know that they wouldn’t be able to handle it. They expect to be famous they just wanted to dream, but there’s like Hilary Duff, Victoria Justice, Amanda Cosgrove, Keenan and kel Ariana Grande how Cameron Boyce when he was alive Dove Cameron China Anne McClain, but there’s other there’s a lot of Charles hers that’s OK yes, the struggle there’s some that can handle it not all child stars can’t handle it you act like you know I’ll child stars know there’s a lot of child. Stars are OK but actually, I’m not OK OK no I mean it’s hard for anybody at any age even adults, struggle with fame sometimes but there’s no excuse for murder is no excuse for committing these crimes there’s no excuses to hurt people

Drake did in fact communicate with her online but didn't know her age and after he found out her age he blocked her and then she hit up drakes wife threatening her and was stalking her non stop . That girl needs serious help . He pled guilty to not knowing the girls age and he had to take the plea so that way the court shi wouldn't go on forever .
