Whew!! This is a very cute project and it turned out SO cute, but it was a LOT to hear and see you go through it. For filming purposes, being more organized (e.g., papers chosen, measurements down pat, etc.), it wouldn't have taken so long. TFS just the same! EDIT: Putting a small bead at the end of your wrapping string will give it a totally finished look. I LOVE the end result!
The stitching is so pretty….i suggest adjusting your machines tension to obtain a more uniform stitch on back side
If you tape down the bottom 2 sections inside of the bag when it’s open you won’t have any trouble sliding your tags in and out. Very cute project. The 5 sided pocket is a pentagon pocket. ❤

For sure, have someone help you adjust the tension on your machine and use a sharp needle for tidier stitches on back.

Such a cute journal! What size of needle did you use to sew the papers? I have a sewing machine but yet to use it. I tired sewing some paper and my needle got jammed 😂
It’s just a basic, all purpose sewing needle 👍 Mine has gotten jammed before but it was because my stitches were too tight with the thread I used! It definitely is a trial and error type thing. 😂
