Where does your boost start to kick in rpm wise? I just got one of these installed on my 2017 Cummins and I have almost no power till 2,000 rpm. have about 4 psi till 2k rpms. how does this compare to yours?
check for exhaust leaks along with boost leaks, if that checks out get with your tuner, probably needs more fuel in the bottom end to spool the bigger turbo faster
So see I want the exact upgrades you’ve gotten which is awesome to see someone doing it. So did you get a turn for the turbo? Did you or can you do it yourself? One more thing, My 5.9 5inch tip on 3.5 straight pipe whistles if I get on it but I hardly do, hard to really ask and answer this but how much was the difference driving around 45mph?
My actuator went bad at 72,000 miles on my 2017 Cummins. I’m looking at a new turbo someday but I see no reason why the actuator on aftermarket turbos won’t go bad too.
I have a cheetah on my 15 duramax and that thing sings. Whistling SOB. This turbo sounds 100% stock compared with our 16 Cummins. 4” straight. I couldn’t hear any notable different whistle at all compared to stock turbo. And I’m researching looking.
I got an 06 cummins with industrial injection 2g swap kit and a borg warner turbo with EFI live and im tempted to switch out the borg warner for a fleece cheetah cause im obsessed with the sound. Do yall think its worth it? I know the borg warner is a very reputable brand and makes good turbos but man it doesn't scream like the fleece cheetah does...
Man can I ask something pretty important to me? Well what model dodge I’m sure I can find it on your channel but does it ride rough? I’m 17 I’ve bought my first diesel pick up 03 3500 quad cab 5.9 and man I’ve done all my recalls bought new tires balanced and aligned and my truck rides really rough it’s hard to go 60 basically all the time I mean it will get up there for sure but my suspension seems to be bad? Any insight why? Or what I should check?
I have the same truck but 05. I’ve driven regular cars and work trucks for 25 years. Sounds to me like you aren’t used to a 1 ton. It will ride rough until it’s loaded down. They’re meant for work. If you’re not planning on loading it down and don’t like the ride then sell it and buy a half ton. You’ll spend thousands of dollars trying to smooth it out and you’ll never be happy.
I have a 2013 ram 3500.. Should consider running your tires at lower pressure unless you're loaded. If I'm empty i run my tires 45psi in the front and 40 in the back and its a world of difference. If I'm fully loaded I'll go as high 65 all around. I'm runnin 285/60r20 duratracs. There are a couple different RUclips videos worth watching explaining tire pressure.
Upgrade upgrade The steering system to the 08+. Everything from the box to the knuckles. That's what I did on my 06 and good lord was it night and day. Still a 1 ton truck but way better
Love that the bays clean you can see the engine
More to come on that
I had the exact same issue with my 2019. I also ended up putting a Fleece Cheetah in it and I have no regrets.
For how I use the truck it’s perfect
man i know that feeling. I crushed two disks in my back and thats whats slowing us down on puting out any content.
Where y’all from
@@MUDSYNDICATE we’re outta pa

Probably will in 150,000 miles

Mine sings right off idle

Does the exhaust brake seem to work the same or better than stock? Especially holding speed/ slowing you down coming down grades loaded?
I believe it’s about the same

It’s a 2019 and it rides like a 1 ton , but not as bad as my f550
Also I really want one of these but again I’m 17 need a full time job to afford these things
That the first step
Gotta pay to play. Better save your money bro.
When I drop this in my truck, do I have to retune? 2015 ram
No it’s a drop in turbo, but obviously the turbo responds better in a tuned truck
@@MUDSYNDICATE truck is on a full diet plan just wondering if I have to retune. Thanks for the info!
Put a fleese on my o4, DISAPPOINTED!!!!!!! WORTHLESS!!!!waste of 2k
