To the moms worrying, I'm a placenta previa baby, the placenta never moved upwards, my mom was fine after the delivery (prior sucked because she was ordered to stay in bed for a few months) she had a C-section and even if I was premature I didn't need any special care thanks to the staff's anticipation. The only thing to this day is that I still have horrible orientation ;) Good pregnancies to you!
I was diagnosed with COMPLETE PLACENTA PREVIA back in 1987 and I was at 16 weeks. Not much was done then except to be ordered complete bed rest until the bleeding stopped. The placenta never shifted until delivery. I almost died and what happened then remains God's own mystery because as I listen to and watch this video I am forced to believe that even the doctor who delivered my baby DID NOT UNDERSTAND WHAT WAS HAPPENING AND SURELY DID NOT EVEN KNOW HOW TO DEAL WITH THE SITUATION. I am still so very thankful to GOD because the Doctor's expertise ran short! I cannot thank you enough for this video. You have answered the questions I never had answers to since that fateful Monday in January '88 when my baby was born. You are blessing many more lives with this video. Again, be blessed.
Your video content is so thorough, concise, and extremely helpful as I am a doula-in-training desiring to learn as much about what the female body goes through during and after pregnancy. It helps tremendously to know the complexities of these conditions before finding myself or my client in the circumstances; your videos are great for preparatory work to be ahead of the scenario before it blindly takes us by storm. I most appreciate that your videos will help me to educate my clients on best plans of actions should these conditions arise. Thank you so much for this detailed visual aid!
This video presentation is amazing, I have search a lot about Placenta Previa, but this one is awesome, I have learnt and understand a lot better... thank you so much for such a nice exposure...
i have placenta previa diagnosed at 5th month. first baby and i am 30. confined twice due to bleeding. now i'm in bed rest but sometimes even though im asleep, i got a light bleeding, sometimes spotting. i don't want to return in hospital unless for giving birth. i pray that everything will going to be ok.
really great video but would have been much more informative if you had used rough dates, I found myself guessing when is 'further into pregnancy' 'later on' weeks would be helpful.
It can be complete placenta previa, at first pregnancy (30y) without symptoms? No vaginal bleeding, no pain. Never uterine surgeries or quiretaige. If yes, is there any possibility to give birth by vaginal delivery? How may be proceed?
I DEFINITELY needed to see this video! I was talking to someone about this the other day and now I have a video to explain it better! Thank you! -Kelsie Spears #BirthingLittleHumans
My daughter was born at 32 weeks - I bled early on around 13 weeks throughout the pregnancy. That was in 2008. I was curious because there was little things to learn about it back then.
Good explanation, so this explained why my previous neighbour got excessive bleeding after labour.. my mom heard about it, she got very high pressure and then her baby die due to feel so scared heard neighbour story blood keep on coming out after giving birth.🚼
don't know why I never knew that when you have more than one baby (twins, triplets, etc) you have more then one placenta... anyway! very informative thanks!
The lungs are mature enough by that time and additional steroids are given prior to elective section in order to give some extra boost in terms of surfactant production.
Eva K good question i was thinking about the same thing why deliver in 34 weeks in the books it's 36 weeks in the real world when i did my ob/gyn rotation it's done at 38 weeks am confused
a little note to address is that placental previa mostly happens after the 28th week of pregnancy because the inferior portion of uterus only forms at the 28th week of pregnancy
hi. i was diagnosed with placenta previa at 18 weeks pregnancy. Now i am 33 weeks and i am no more placenta previa. dont worry much about that, mostly placenta moves up during later parts of pregnancy.
If that was true then the 1st stage of labour, i.e. the dilatation of the cervix, wouldn't be painful. The cervix is highly innervated and very sensitive to noxious stimuli of all modalities.
It does occur with pain with placental abruption. It states that. And believe me it hurts, I had one. Ever been in a car accident? That's how I felt when I woke up from general sedation.

Ur amazing thank youuuu!!!!
thank you so much 😀

FANTASTIC
Why delivery at 34 weeks? its too early why not wait little longer for the lungs to mature?
The lungs are mature enough by that time and additional steroids are given prior to elective section in order to give some extra boost in terms of surfactant production.
Eva K good question i was thinking about the same thing why deliver in 34 weeks in the books it's 36 weeks in the real world when i did my ob/gyn rotation it's done at 38 weeks am confused
because it's putting the mothers life in danger.
If u take the chance and wait both mother and baby can die
a little note to address is that placental previa mostly happens after the 28th week of pregnancy because the inferior portion of uterus only forms at the 28th week of pregnancy
Where’d you get that? This is untrue, I was diagnosed with placenta previa at 17 weeks.
Interesting I never knew the placenta could be abnormally positioned, great explanation. #birthinglittlehumans
Thank you so much ! #BirthingLittleHumans
Thank you ama türkçe versiyonu lazım..
This was very informative. #birthinglittlehumans
I was 20 weeks and diagnosed with placenta previa. My next ultra sound is in my 30th weeks! Im so scared 😟
I'm 19 weeks and been diagnosed as well! How did your turn out?
hi. i was diagnosed with placenta previa at 18 weeks pregnancy. Now i am 33 weeks and i am no more placenta previa. dont worry much about that, mostly placenta moves up during later parts of pregnancy.
thank you! i found out i had it at 19 weeks and six days, i hope i have the same result!
Marivic Lim how did it turn out for you? I just found out today.
On my 35 weeks it move a little. I had my baby at 37 weeks c section.
Most placenta previas do not bleed
What are my chances of it moving up if at 17 weeks I'm told my placenta is low lying?
@lydia did yours move up?
@@nathashas8765 yes it did I had a full term healthy baby girl which I pushed out
awesome
5th month me placenta previa ho to kya Karna chahiye
Corticosteroids dene chahye or complete bed rest hona chahye ,mother ko intravenous fluids b provide krne chahye
❤❤❤❤❤❤
why does the bleeding occur without pain?
The area around cervix doesn't have nerve receptor to pain
If that was true then the 1st stage of labour, i.e. the dilatation of the cervix, wouldn't be painful. The cervix is highly innervated and very sensitive to noxious stimuli of all modalities.
It does occur with pain with placental abruption. It states that. And believe me it hurts, I had one. Ever been in a car accident? That's how I felt when I woke up from general sedation.

Josephine Eusebio My doctor said if it doesn't fix itself then yes, especially with having complete placenta previa.
