It’d be one of the great joys of my life to see a version of Spider-man where Peter actually finds a way to forgive himself for not stopping the thief. It seems like the right way to end the character in my book.
@@ultimateslinger9857 Oh I love it. It’s fantastic. But I don’t know if I’d say he really lets go of that guilt and forgives himself. But he does allow himself to fantasize about what that would be. It’s one of my all time fav stories from Spider-man though.
I will always defend the mainstream Marvel Universe and the mainstream Spider-Man as long as I live. But I also like to pretend The Amazing Spider-Man ended with the Happy Birthday Story Arc (1962-2003). And The Amazing Spider-Man was Rebooted (2006-2013)(excluding the One More Day Saga or the Brand New Day Saga). The beauty with the 616 Universe is that it has events that could be headcanoned as reboots to separate the bad eras.
I'm reminded of the final episode of the animated series from the 90s where Spider-Man and a bunch of his alternate counterparts had to stop Spider-Carnage, a Peter bonded with the Carnage Symbiote, from destroying the multiverse. What they did was bring back Ben Parker, who in turn told Peter (Spider-Carnage) that there was nothing for him to feel guilty of and that he never blamed him for his death. That was all it took to save the multiverse.
Ultimate Spider-Man is my personal favorite incarnation of all time. Both Peter Parker and of course Miles Morales. And I'm really glad you included them in this video.
And that art at the end could ONLY have been done by....John Romita Sr. RIH, Oh Jazzy One. (art before Uncle Ben appeared was by his son, John Romita Jr. Not too shabby either...)
I never got the first two parts but I was lucky to snag ASM # 500 and it was a great story. It's probably one of the best Spider-Man stories and one of my favorites in my collection. It's always nice to see some happy endings in Spider-Man comics. Unlike today we got too much "Parker Luck" in stories and other shenanigans the writers of today are cooking up.
Hold up didn't ultimate peter get resurrected? It literally just defeats the whole conclusion to his story. The writers weren't done making ultimate petes life hell
A happy ending? For SPIDER MAN?! Impossible. The writers must have been on vacation.
There used to be good writers…ACTUALLY GOOD WRITERS!!!😰😔
@@paolocalapatia6401 JMS is the goat
What a great ending for Spiderman.
They should've called this comic: It's A Marvellous Life for Spider-man.
(Like the movie It's A Wonderful Life but with Marvel.)
Yeah but that would have given away the ending of the comic. It would have worked for this video since it talks about an ending for Spider-Man.

Then You really need to check out Spider-Man: Life Story. That ending for spidy is just as good if not better

This and Spider-man: Life Story give fitting ends to the wallcrawler

A masterpiece... One that Peter and Spiderman deserves
I had a father. His name was Ben Parker
Spider-Man 2002

Thank you, his ending was great.
@@Theonebaki BTW I actually still have the Ultimate Spider-Man video game for the Nintendo GameCube version.
@@joelcartagena953 I loved the video game
@@Theonebaki yeah same here. Although I wish they could've made a sequel. Maybe having Miles Morales as the MC.
@@joelcartagena953 they did do that as a comic. But I think it’s better to show more of venoms arc
Unless I'm mistaken, the style at the end look similar to John Romita Sr. That's a nice touch.
Pretty sure both Sr. and Jr. drawed the whole part with Ben.

this should be tom holland's ending when he eventually end his spiderman career

I Think this was one of J. Micheal Cryznski's best spidey stories.
He deserved this ❤
Nice
someone must of snuck into the studio and changed the script
This should be amazing spider man 3
Too bad we can't have nice things.
Hold up didn't ultimate peter get resurrected? It literally just defeats the whole conclusion to his story. The writers weren't done making ultimate petes life hell
I wasn't really on board with Peter's resurrection either, his death nicely closed his arc and there was no need to see him again.
Seriously just give it up. Spiderman will never end
Do you think Spider-Man The “Anniversary Syndrome” is another good conclusion to Spider-Man comics ?
I haven't read it yet but I'm going to look for more about that story, what is it about?
@@Gabrielznerd it’s basically the Anniversary of the night of Uncle Ben being killed by the burglar.
Isnt this one of the last stories before the paul stupidity
What is the name of this comic?
It's a three part story, it begins with the amazing Spider-Man 57,58 and 500
What series and what issue is this in?
Amazing Spider-Man (1999) 57,58 and 500
