We have bought an expensive brand for our dog from the start.. He did eat it in the beginning but after we changed it once or twice to try different types , like chicken base or lamb base we could not get him to eat it again.. For the past year we have been buying from someone who makes fresh hamburger type patties with veggies mixed in.. People we know their dog eats it raw.. NOT our Dog.. I bake them in the oven. One day he ate one raw and we were hoping he would do it for ever but nope. Sometimes I cook up meat in our freezer with eggs ,pumpkin , some oats or flour , not much compared to the meat and other ingredients.. might be a cup as i feel like it sticks everything together better oh and i soak his dried food and grind it up mixing into the meat and in that case i do not add any oats or flour. What I need is a good recipe instead of making it up as I go.

oh WOW! well I sincerely bet he would eat this dehydrated raw food, my dogs go CRAZY for it... it's 100% real food, 90% meat and organs.

@@MichelleVisser Just want to clarify about the meat in the freezer,,. We bought a quarter cow about 2 years ago and again last year.. Both times It is gamey , both my husband and I can't eat it..although we have tried a few times.. End up cutting it up for the dog.. so we gave up trying to eat it..Here and there I started taking it out of the freezer , grinding it up , adding to it and feeding it to my dog , who is a very picky eater and had no problem diving right in . I will also cook up meat that we bought that we think we will cook up and then don't and it is going to get freezer burnt if I don't do something with it. Wish us luck , we bought a cow being raised on a friend's small farm and we are really hoping it will be not be gamey.
