Again, I had filmed this a few weeks back, and wanted to wait until McGrath Magic dropped! I decided to combine both palettes, because I thought both color stories worked well together! And I am more than happy to film more looks with Safari! I need to go back and review the looks I already did, so I don’t repeat myself 🤪

Yeah, in my free time I love applying Pat and Natasha with Sonia G brushes and imagine that I am rich and not someone who just spends all their money on brushes and eyeshadows... but still has a pair of jeans in use from 10th grade. Because priorities, that’s why 😂

I have hooded eyes and it has always bothered me that I don't have a lot of lid space to show off eyeshadow colors. I wanted to tell you that your suggestion for adding color to the lower lash line has really resonated with me. I really never thought about using a color that way until you mentioned it in your tutorial. I realize now that there are ways to make what can be perceived as a negative into a positive. It’s definitely being discontinued. Pat told me herself when I met her at the Divine Rose launch last fall. I wore it and she knew what it was right away lol. It’s still available on Sephora though
On Pat’s website it says Subversive is coming soon so I hope they release again before its gone permanently.
aesthetically turquoise it’s said that for months. I tried to buy it in the fall and they had to cancel it from my order

I’m obsessed with the first 2 eye looks! I would have never even thought to put blitzed amethyst on the inner 1/3 with night creature on the lid. It was gorgeous!!

YESSSS!!! YES YES YESSSSSSS!!!! I always mix my palettes, but for some reason my Pat palettes and ND palettes I only use by themselves. Dont know why. Maybe cuz, like you said, I treat them like treasures and just never thought to?🤷♀️🤷♀️

Hey, Alicia; yet another set of gorgeous PML looks! Please continue working w/ND's Safari palette🙏. I only picked it up on sale more recently, & I particularly love pairing it w/Pat's Divine Rose...However, you've GOT to help me w/Fata Morgana🤣.
The 1st look I tried w/the palette was a cool-toned look, where I threw Stone in the crease & started in w/Fata Morgana. I was trying to do an all-matte, smoky-teal smoky eye...& tbh, I felt like I was working w/Subculture. I couldn't get the pigment to grab on evenly, & it looked patchy. Thankfully, I layered on several toppers (MJ from "Steel-etto" & from Huda's Neon Green 9-pan) randomly, & the look came out beautifully...like a glittery teal "oil spill" look. It just wasn't what I wanted to do.
I now realize that I can't use my usual technique, & slowly build pigmentation in layers, w/this shade. But even when I've tried packing it on, it still doesn't look good close up. I personally would love to see you try a look pairing Fata Morgana w/shades from either ND's Gold, Metropolis, or the P-Bl 28-pan...
I love combining palettes, you can come up with sooo many looks. Also a lot of palettes don’t have a lot of mattes, so you can come up with new looks just by grabbing a matte from another palette

I know this is an old video, but I loved the mash-up idea! I feel like we've all been there, looking at our collection of palettes and wondering how to combine things to get more use out of them. Now that you're scaling back on spending (aren't we all!) This might be a good idea to revisit

First 4 large mothership pallettes are not comparable to ND, but best from Pat's later creations. And I agree with you that no.3 is the best of first 4.

I constantly mix my palettes. These looks make me wonder if I should not have passed off this mothership palette for mothership VI when I picked up Safari in the April VIB sale. I just thought I would not get much use of the shimmers. It remained on my list so I may pick it up next time it goes on sale
