With (L) crafting you always do full Quantity and the remaining TT of the item you craft you fill by using residue, dont go full Condition unless u just wanna gamble and piss away peds

Great to know. I didn't know residue did that. I will do that from now on thank you! 🙏

im with you on never tt, get big bankroll into mu and then sell on market. originally my goal was to sell all on market for mu, but you may have opened my eyes to crafting for mu! especially with items that im already getting from hunt

Its WAY cheaper to chip in. like half the price and a 100th of the time.

I wish to say that I agree with you, but in fact not really :D The fact is that most components are not worth to craft at all because many people craft them and undercut prices. There only few cases when it's not that bad to craft components: if you use them yourself, because at least you are not paying fees for selling or if you craft them when input materials are cheap and sell only when for some reason markups go up (e.g. RM mayhem event). Like you say, now Simple1 conductors have good mu, but also input materials have some mu now, this is where it comes from. And things like eye/muscle oil sells on auction all the time if you are not trying to sell it for some crazy mu. OK, lets do small example on Simple 1 conductors crafting with qr100 blueprint: Lets say you make clicks for 1000 ped. You were crafting when oils are cheap, lets say 101%, so you are paying 10ped in mu for 1000ped inputs. You spin the wheel and in very long term you can expect to get back 95%, so with 1000p crafting you lost 50ped in tt and 10ped in mu. Your total loss is now 60ped. On your 950p return, only ~ half will be component you craft (Simple 1 conductors in this example) all other will be mostly oil residue or returned oils, or shrapnel which mostly don't have mu. So you now have 475p Simple 1 conductors, which you need to sell for at least 110% to break even when your inputs were 101%. And Simple 1 conductors price will be like 105% on ah when inputs are 101%. You can do your test crafting runs and make simple excel sheets with your input prices and what you can expect. Also keep in mind I'm talking about qr100 blueprint. Crafting with low qr is terrible. Also on small runs most likely you won't be even close to 95% returns. Anything below 1k ped per run might end like 85-90%, unless you are lucky. Just saying :D

Not usually, that used to happen a lot more but for example right now sheet metal is at a steady 27% with the lowest auction is like 26%. If your undercutting like 27% to less than 20% it makes no sense but once those leave the auction they usually don't pop back up right away plus this has been an issue with all professions however it's got a lot better and right now markups are up more than usual. But at one time that was true. Simple 1 conductors are going for over 10% right now and the auctions currently available reflect that. I would check auction again. 5 Years ago this was much more of a problem cuz I do remember that, however I don't see it as often anymore. Level 3 finders are selling at there 7% as well. Make sure to pay attention to the daily percentages and check auction as well. Sometimes you'll see something with 7% on the daily but the cheapest is selling at 5% you'll get that but that's just how markets work it's not entropia itself. It's no different when some bozo wants to drop a pallet of Pokemon booster boxes for 50-60% of the price in an Amazon dump just to liquidate and it tanks the market. It happens in markets and economies. Entropia is not much different. But people have been getting better about pricing for sure but no profession is immune to this I swear half of the hunting loot you get is useless, it's just how things go sometimes. These markups fluctuate all the time I usually just look on auction to see what the lowest markup is selling for. Pretty easy to get around before you start crafting or doing anything. And again prices can change the next day.

@@obbldudeTV Yes, this is something I was trying to say. It's only worth to craft if you sell at right time. For example now Simple1 are >110% in mu, but if you buy inputs from AH now, you won't craft them for 110% and make them for some more most likely. I did tens of thousands of clicks on simple1 and now mostly never craft them as it's always cheaper to buy these. The thing is many people just want to sell and also not many even calculate and they just think that they are making profit. 50% return rule is quite accurate for most components, this means you always get ~50% back of component that you craft and the other is cheap low mu materials. On globals it's even smaller % of returns will be end component. Something like basic sheet metal is better to craft if you are a mining materials yourself, you should at least break even or do small profit. I suggest to try to do your own tests, but try to calculate everything and save somewhere, this way you can find things that are actually worth crafting and stay away from these where you just lose :)

@@vidmantaslaukys4123 I agree and that was my main point instead of TTing to craft if possible. It's usually never worth it to buy the materials unless your paying like 1 or 2% or maybe if it makes sense if you need more of 1 material. I only craft when I already have the material from other activities.

@@vidmantaslaukys4123 or if the markup is 5% or more I usually just sell the item over crafting it
