It sucks that she genuinely apologized on several different occasions, and no one wanted to let it go. While her music was never for me, seeing someone fail at what they were clearly passionate about always hurts. Especially after the loss of a loved one. But seeing her find success elsewhere and knowing her mother would be proud of her is a beautiful thing.

It really would not surprise me if behind the scenes her management praised her "look at all the people reading articles about you, your name is out there!" And so on.
