- On a trip to Paris, Wei met with Guillaume Laidet, the architect of recently revived vintage darling, Nivada Grenchen to talk about our first collaboration - a fully black Depthmaster with unique dial markers that resemble the video game character Pac-Man. Very cool watch. Any chap with an ATMOS clock, a Die Hard and Lichtenstein poster on the wall (framed too), is obviously good people and knows a thing or two about what makes a great watch. Loving the new NG chronos myself. Thank you for taking the time to share this.

Nice interview. Love Nivada Grenchen -- I've got a black dial C.A.S. and a Worn&Wound Datomaster. Guillaume is the real deal. This is a cool version of the Depthmaster, but I've really fallen for the green dial. Hoping to see it in person at the next Windup Watch Fair. Any chance of that happening, since it's currently sold out online? I guess I'll find out at the end of this month. Fingers crossed.
Nivada Grenchen is Top Class!
Mine arrived non-functional after a three month wait. Timegrapher showed no life after a wind. Returned it to the Florida AD for a refund, but I was stuck with shipping both ways at $75. Unsure why Nivada hasn't responded to my message from going on a month ago. Nivada really needs to ramp up the customer service as right now they have 0 customer service, and very questionable QC, as repeated comments are showing up from others about problems, shipping from China, etc. Beautiful watches, but this microbrand startup could learn a thing or two about the proper way to deal with customers and not to ignore problems, but improve your product and service. And after my experience I have no further interest in this brand.
