You just gave me seizures bro lol. I must replace the xenon bulb as well and was searching for the know how. But from what I see I must take it to a specialist. Damn it lol
Thanks for your tips, im trying to change lightbulbs of my B6 3.2 4motion HID type which i think has the same problem from driver side, could I move a bit forward the driver side lighthead even it will bend abit the pumper so i can insert my hand to change it? After dismantling all screws, thanks
hey great video.Quick question when u buy xenon ( i have got lights out and taken out xenon ) do you only buythe one xenon globe set up the does high and normal driving beam?
My left bulb just started to turn off sometimes and back working again. When see how much work is needed to replace bloody bulbs,i wanna sell the whole car 😑😑
Due to the HID ballast being built in to the wiring and head light I’ve heard they don’t like LED.. but I’ve never personally tried! Also a lot of info out there on a HID bulb is usually better in a projector lens - I would love to see a 55w HID ballast upgrade on there though!
@@ThatCarChannelOfficial b6 with xenon and afs. Only thing is the clip I will later put in properly as the v shaped spring I cannot see how it goes back. Will do after I get it off without removing bumper. Going from side access point.
Just used this vid to replace my HID bulbs on my Passat b6 3.2. This guy’s got it bang on 👌🏼 thanks
Cheers for the feedback
You nailed it! It was rough finding a solid guide on this one, thanks for this!!
Thank you!

Why did this give you seizures?
Because of the fuss that it takes to change a lightbulb on my VW golf which has the same features as your car bro. Damn it lol 😂
Was hoping for an easy alternative but I've always just taken the front bumper off and headlights out :D

No worries at all! Glad it helped!
I will try my idea 💡

also i have found the light on normal beam is very ordinary ( mine hasn’t blown i just want brighter so thought would change
my xenon is an osram 35w but is ordinary light
Is it same procedure to change the other side?
Yes, it’s not exactly fun, but easier than taking the bumper off.
I just went ahead and used a heat gun to melt off that bottom bracket, they slide in and out with ease!
Really? That’s an interesting and unique approach! Some might say slightly extreme 😬😄
Thank you but my light bulb won’t stay in place for some reason. You just fit it in without rotating right?
Need to rotate, same way it it came out. It only goes in one way.

Literally in the same situation
is any chance R36 will fit any led light bulb?

Want to know something cool? I did it without removing headlight or any bolts. Pain in the ass but better than disassembly
Was it on an r36? Or normal b6 with H7’s?
