Do you guys believe in reporters feeling entitled or being hurt when they don’t get the answers they want to their questions?
Man the entire Philly off-season is just gonna be the media bashing Hurts, absolute clowns. Why is Philly sports media the only city that needs to be so negative around its star players. I swear Danny Dimes gets less hate in NY than Hurts gets in Philly

Philadelphia Media is infested with media writers and personalities who grew up in NYC, Boston, and other places. They're just in Philly for work $ , and their hearts truly aren't with Philadelphia sports teams. I emailed a few Philadelphia media guys and called them out, and they admitted they grew up rooting for their hometown teams in Boston and New York.
You also have guys on other media markets like NYC, North Jersey who drum up fake news to cause turmoil on the Philadelphia Sports teams. I've seen at times "fake trades" and embellished stories about Philadelphia Sports stars came out of no where and they somehow benefited NYC teams . For example last Summer it came out of nowhere that The Knicks and Sixers were discussing a trade that would send Joel Embid to the Knicks. You know damned well it was some knucklehead in the NYC media who started this false rumor because they wanted the All Star center up in NYC..
Hurts sucked last year bro. ..and the coaching sucked...I have zero problem with them asking the questions

Two years ago he was one fumble in the Super Bowl away from being MVP! Why don't you all see if you could do some real reporting and see if you can figure out why the 2023 Eagles collapsed?! It wasn't Jalen Hurts! Had much to do with Sirianni and the awful offensive and defensive coordinators along with a horribly inept defense! Philly fans, don't let this crap be acceptable. We all saw what we did in 2023! Give Hurts a good game plan and a good offensive coordinator then, let's see what happens!
Jalen is a top 10 QB in the NFL. When Jalen was asked the question he was being Honest. If your a QB and you get handed a playbook that is 90-95 percent different than the one you had last year. And your studying, running he plays that the Offense coordinator gave you. Then how would you honestly know what role the hrad coach has in the scheme? Unless you asked him directly?

Bruh, the only way Hurts is a top 10 quarterback is for it to be a 12 team league.
I mean based off last year he was rated far outside the top 10 of all active starting QBs. Passing yards 14th, QBR 15th, hell his pocket passing rating was 89.1 and that was rated 20th in the league. All this and he was the 3rd highest throwing with his INTs thrown.
Actually it's Jeffrey and Howie's fault that Hurts had to answer the question to begin with because they put Nick on the back burner for Kellan Moore.

I wouldn’t mind sometime in my Lifetime seeing a Dan Marino type Quarterback in Eagles 🦅 midnight green. I really am tired of the running QB phase of this organization. I want a cannon-armed ironman who you’re not SCARED of being injured at ANY TIME of a game. I want a pocket passer who can truly take advantage of these Wide Receivers. Use the ACTUAL RUNNING BACK. I hate relying on Hurts to extend plays and then just take off without reading the defense. I’m in a weird spot with Jalen as my franchise’s Starting Quarterback. I hate his style of play. I want someone who is known for reading defenses and throwing more OFTEN than NOT. MAYBE Aaron Rodgers mobility; but nothing more than that. I want a great thrower of the football.
How many Dan Marinos' are there, my guy? They Eagles have tried, Foles, Kolb, Doug P, Bradford (short lived) to name some. It's the myth it doesn't really work. You've got Brady but most of those SB were defensive teams, the year to offense was great they lost to the Giants. Who's that guy now Borrow? Herbert? Those guys have been injured more than Hurts.

Wentzing yourself 2 times in a row. That's on the owner and GM. The GM definitely needs to be fired. The coach is not an NFL coach. My guess is The Eagles are cleaning house after this season blows up in their faces. How did they not see this coming w/ Hurts after they went through an eerily similar scenario w/ Wentz? One read college style system QB's that must be able to run the ball a ton to have success in the passing game. If a team can stop them from playing RB and force them to sit in the pocket and pass they are horrible at reading defenses pre and post snap, panic under pressure and are going to force the ball to avoid sacks resulting in a lot of picks. That's why Hurts had 15 picks last season. Word is Pickett is already looking better than Hurts in OTA's. They won't give Kenny the starter role though. The Eagles will say Hurts is injured and then put Kenny in. If they bench him is trade value will drop tremendously. I wouldn't be surprised if they did not make a call or 2 before the draft and were laughed at when they told the other team what they wanted for Hurts. It's okay. The same thing happened to Josh Allen last season, but the Bills were able to bounce back and overcome it w/ the help of the refs. I would look for a massive fallout in Philly and Buffalo this season.

I see ALOT of passive aggressive stuff out of Jalen Hurts...he knew what he was doing there...and who knows? Maybe he has good reasons to answer the question the way he did...but he could have and should have handled it better...ESPECIALLY in a Media Crazy city like Philly! He basically put even MORE focus on himself....and there will be enough of that already after last year's meltdown.

Again. Simple things that players like Jalen don’t do. When you’re making 50M per YR. When you’re the QB. Take control of the team, lead by example play, and be there more than what’s required and outwork everyone to set the standard. You shouldn’t have to tell him this. At the end of last season, Hurts had an opportunity to sort of get Nick’s back so to speak, he didn’t. Same for this softball question, as I see it, Jalen doesn’t really like Nick, simple as that.

That's not an insane fact, that's how QB contracts work they aren't based on skill they are based on next man up. Trevor Lawrence gets paid more than both of them. Also, who cares, Hurts deserves it, he's a top 5 QB in the NFL.
