Such a celebration of 'perfect' masculinity - macho and yet so so homoerotic at the same time - respect! @ Matthew Bourne

The wonderful Jon Ollivier, who had so much stage presence, grace and brooding masculinity. An amazing dancer who will be much missed.

Bravo, Bravo!!! Same here - occasionally enjoyed watching ballerinas in pretty dresses and on point but not the men - they always look odd. This is sooooo much better! I've heard of Matthew Bourne before but never seen his work. I;m definitely converted too! Thanks for sharing
    Cheers

Brings back memories of looking at the Sears catalog when I was a child, looking at the pix of people in their underwear. So shocking.

I like that MB doesn't give two fucks about the cult of ballerinas. Who needs them.

It's the first time I look at this choreography of Matthew Bournes. Very intriguing in sexy male underwear ;-)
Joke...... He's a fantasy choreographer and I'm glad I've seen several ballets from him.
When making this choreography he had to take into account the physical and expressive possibilities of the dancers ;-)
They may perform this ballet in my cave where I live ;-)

Witty choreography executed with technical skill and panache. I don't care if it is gay or not. It made me laugh out loud, something ballet rarely does.

For me it had a kind of gay facet which isn't bad or good.

Has huge gay connotones which will play obviously to gay men - I don't know much about Matthew Bourne but I'[m guessing that's what his dances tend to symbolise - a sort of gayish atmosphere. Plus pure men, no mix gives it away.. I don't care what anyone has to say because that's what it's about whether indirectly or not. However, I guess it doesn't really matter as not to me anyway but it also doesn't interest me that much because there is little dance in it too! One either likes it or they don't and I am in between neither like it or don't. It simply does nothing for me. Also, the constant "fist" symbol is a little annoying.
