I think the assumption of you shilling is a direct result of people becoming very jaded of RUclips reviews. Too often the reviews are little more than a commercial for the products to drive affiliate income for the reviewers. It’s hard to tell who can be trusted at times. Several things. 1. You actually do deserve to receive money from profits made by designs you collaborated on. That's actually how many designers make money. Most don't have the money to bring their designs to market by themselves. So, like you, they design for a company and then get a percentage of the profit. 2. Don't worry about what anyone says about you. Whether you shill or not, there will always be people who believe you are. You'll never make everyone happy. If Jesus couldn't make everyone love him, what chance do regular people have? Free will dictates that people make their own decisions and decide who they like or dislike. You don't owe anyone an explanation. Those who like you will continue to do so without explanation. Those who don't like you won't accept any explanation you give them. And for those who claim that they liked you until you said or did x, y or z, well, they're honestly probably just angry about life in general and looking for a target to vent on. I love knives also been collecting for 50 years now I love my old school knives but they don't hold an edge long. The problem is my new knives are expensive so I'm afraid to carry them when I work outside since I lost my mimi griptilian.

I erased much of my RUclips stuff and Maybe put out one video a year now. I mostly had my nephews doing crazy stuff for them to watch because it was something they wanted to do before they were old enough to do it themselves. Most of my hunting stuff was erased to I wouldn't offend anyone even though I never showed any animals we ate.
I respect your stance but at the end of the day you work very hard on the channel and give valuable information on a daily basis. You can make an extra buck on youtube, patreon, ads or getting a cut of the knife designs you helped create whilst staying true and not selling out.

Sorry but if you help design a knife and it happens to be a good seller that you help market you should absolutely be getting a cut. Don’t sell yourself short. That is getting a foot in the door. Don’t give your talents to somebody else period. Business first, fun and friendship second.

I erased much of my RUclips stuff and Maybe put out one video a year now. I mostly had my nephews doing crazy stuff for them to watch because it was something they wanted to do before they were old enough to do it themselves. Most of my hunting stuff was erased to I wouldn't offend anyone even though I never showed any animals we ate.

I respect your stance but at the end of the day you work very hard on the channel and give valuable information on a daily basis. You can make an extra buck on youtube, patreon, ads or getting a cut of the knife designs you helped create whilst staying true and not selling out.
