Excellent work!
Many thanks!
Congrats on the great leaf casting job, Larry. Well done!
Thank you Peter! 😃
Amazing first attempt Larry! Looking forward to seeing so much more from your casting table!
Me too! 🤞
WOW! Love the Lou Fine pencils on the Ray. Loved his sharp clean pencils like Bill Everett's. Marc Raboy and Jack King Kirby too of course. Beautiful colors still for a 83-year-old comic book. Looks incredible Larry! Great job!
Thank you I can’t wait to see what it looks like when it’s all put back together
Great to see the leaf casting process. Would love to try that, but not sure I have the time to dedicate. Also, a great book - love those old Quality Comics.
Leaf casting seems to be a hot topic right now and I don’t have the capital to drop $5-$10K on a machine that I would use very infrequently. So I set about inventing one that was cost-effective. So for about $300, I was successful but now I have the training wheels on to learn how to actually do the process and it is an art form. Kenny Sanderson is the master. I wish I could do that type of work, but he actually has the proper machine for it.
