Beautiful patina on those staples sir. The light table worked great-much better than my old too-small 35mm slide viewer. It’s great that we build on each other’s work and keep refining our processes. Can you point us to your source for the larger light table?
Of course! I got it from Amazon. Check out this page from flyinglcomics www.amazon.com/shop/flyinglcomics?ref_=cm_sw_r_apin_aipsfshop_aipsfflyinglcomics_CVQ2RQRW2MEQSNQW02RX&language=en_US

The pages look beautiful. By the way, you have the same light screen that I have. I love it for purposes such as these.
Yeah, it really worked well for this project
How did you dampen the comic before the tear seals? What was your process? Thx
Hi Don. The book was immersed in 25% calcium hydroxide solution.
Using a scalpel to pull those staples back seems pretty scary. I was nervous you were going to gouge the paper or slice your finger.
Well, I don’t think I’m a good middle school candidate that’s for sure
Med school
To reinforce the inner wrap spine area tears, are u using 5 GSM Japan paper or heavier weight?
That’s 5g
will a grading company catch this process?
