The moral of season 1: you shouldn't hold onto the things that you don't like
The moral of season 2: fuck reading
And Gaslighting
Books never dissappear Phil is forever haunted by books
The fact that night 6 is night 1 through 5 and at 6 am you fight two animatronics amagobot and whatever one eye became
Also prevents end is extremely funny sounding

These mechanics legit just read to me like:
Night 1:
Imitater Bonnie will have a respiratory issue every alternating minute. If he's holding his throat, you need to give him an epipen. If he's gasping for breath on the ground, he needs the inhaler. If he's clawing at his nostrils, he needs a neti pot. You need to gather the materials to sell for the money to buy these medications by rummaging through his room for Intact Scrap Fragments. If you give him the wrong item, he will pass out and Imitater Violent Bonnie will awaken, at which point you will need to sell whatever items you have to buy him an ice cream cone to calm him down. You need to time your choice carefully to avoid giving him a cone with a drizzle, because he hates those even more.
Note: Imitater Bonnie will emerge on Night 3
This is the funniest shit I've ever read
you think THAT'S bad? Imitater Chica's mechanics have an entire full-fledged stock market simulator as part of distracting her away from your office!

@@Blackheartzero You will need to study in economics and business, then get a job, then drop off from that job with enough money to get a workshop, then you have to develop your product and then present it to the market. Develop your business until it becomes a megacorporation, then present your stocks to Shitcum Chica. That will lead her to the vents, where you'll need to study quantum engineering to develop a quantum supercomputer, then ask this computer to solve an impossible equation. @@Blackheartzero and her tutorial appears during the flashing lights warning at the start of the game but she doesnt show up till the third seperate part of the game in a secret night
Fr tho I still cannot believe how complex this whole thing was, night 6 was just an English essay and the night itself ended with Phil winning via spite fueled determination
For each night that had new instructions, I say phis read around 2-3 hours worth of instructions from each night instructions combined.
I think "convoluted" is the more appropriate word..."complex" implies, there's actual merit to find in the gameplay.
@@manticore6963 what does merit mean?
@@mavrin123 "merit" as in "something to gain from". (english isn't my first language, so I might've used it wrong)
@@manticore6963 You used it correctly. If something has merit, it’s considered worthy of praise. You’re saying it should be called ‘convoluted’ because it doesn’t give the impression that it deserves praise, unlike ‘complex’. Good job!

Post-Shift 2... *not even once.*
This game actually became a ton toxic to Phil
@@Joshrivers2010 imagine somehow becoming more toxic the toxic gloop
It takes guts to throw everything the player has learned out the window.
Joking aside, as many problems as this game has, I do hope the patches make the game more enjoyable for people. There's honestly some cool stuff in the game, and Rjac seems like they want to make it better.
How tf do you think this can be made "more enjoyable". The whole game is so fundamentally awful and convoluted to the core, there's literally nothing good about it.

You know Phil's fed up with something when he says that he'd rather play Security Breach than do whatever he's currently doing.
IT TAKES GUTS TO TAKE GASLIGHTING OF SUCH CALIBER
The pages of tutorials were actually scarier than any of the animatronics.
Never expected to witness actual character development during a fnaf fangame stream
So we went from Part A, a FNaF fangame that was squeezed into too few nights... to Part B, multiple FNaF fangames that are all squeezed into a single night each.
After about 12 hours of non stop grinding you did it, and it was incredible to watch live. Also shout-out to that kid who helped.
It takes guts to complete Grizzly's, but it takes twice the guts to complete Post Shift 2
My guts have already been taken
The real reason there's 5 pages of tutorials on Night 6 is so that you have a page for each stage of grief you'll be going through from playing this game
Random thought: As I saw the dream-like, obtuse, gaslighting and absolutely crazy gameplay and feel... it brought to mind another fan game from an entirely different genre.
It's a Super Mario 64 ROM hack (stay with me on this) known as Build 3313, or B3313, which without spoiling too much, follows a similar format: dreamy feeling, cryptic and hard-to-navigate areas, expansive areas, a pain to %100 and push the engine they were made to the limit, and, of course, a whole lotta gaslighting (moreso in the upcoming 1.0 than the current 0.7, though that one has its moments, too).
The difference is, B3313 has a major advantage when it comes to Post-Shift 2 when it comes to text... there isn't hours of crappy tutorials to go through. With a couple exceptions, what you see is what get. It's Mario 64. There's a couple quirks with the moveset, but it makes sense in-game. While there are some lore dumps here and there, the text is kept quick, concise (though a bit edgy and meta, in an endering way imo, and most gonna are rectified in 1.0), and left mostly up to interpretation. Animations and quick and snappy, and its horror is a lot more subtle and kept for those with a curious eye.
The game, also like PoSh 2, is so goddamn huge, even in its current state, and feels like it could be separate games. To a player going in totally blind, it could take around 10 hours or longer to complete the hack. But the thing is, the challenge comes from returning to where you once were in a much more fun way than dying over and over: through exploration, or to be more specific, letting the player explore for themself and take in everything one step at a time, which is why it's often compared to games like Yume Nikki.
And then comes my favorite subject from this thought: gaslighting tactics! Both games like to lie to you quite often, but where B3313 shines and PoSh 2 fails is instead of spouting crap that wasn't true or not explained well, it does its little trolling in a more "show, don''t tell" approach, without giving too much away.
And keep in mind, this is just the current version. I almost don't want to recommend it for the sheer fact that 1.0 is gonna btfo everything that 0.7 did. It's THAT huge.
TL;DR: funni bing bing wahoo man does a better job at being Post--Shift 2 than Post-Shift 2
EDIT: MADLAD ACTUALLY DID IT
And this ladies and gentlemen, is when phil and uh yeah life changed forever
The last night looks like reading the guides for a raid boss in an mmo with how many mechanics there are.
Nah even raid bosses aren't as convoluted as that
My favorite part of this game was that faceless Bonnie, who slaps your ass EVERY time you exit Bonnie’s area.
To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Post-Shift 2. The story is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp on fnaf lore most of the game will go over a typical player's head. There's also One-Eye's nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterization - his personal philosophy draws heavily from Narodnaya Volya literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of the story, to realize that it's not just nonsense- that it says something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Post-Shift 2 truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the awesomeness in One-Eye's existential catchphrase "It's One-Eyeing time," which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenev's Russian epic Fathers and Sons. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Rjac25's genius unfolds itself on their computer screens. What fools... how I pity them. 😂 And yes by the way, I DO have a Post-Shift 2 tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It's for the ladies' eyes only- And even they have to demonstrate that they're within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand.
Masterpiece
I'm stealing this
You, are an artist.

This is what happens when a game developer that hates "easy" games doesn't have that friend that tells them to stop.
This feels like a parody. I am thoroughly convinced they had to make it two parts because half the code went to the tutorial.
Phisom's suffering is neverending.
Imagine have the AUDACITY to add multiple endings for replay ability after putting peoples through all that 😂
If the next part releases, but it locks Phil out of playing it because he didn't get the best ending in the previous part, I'm gonna laugh super hard.
Welcome to part 2 where he wasn’t wrong
These highlights do not show the pure perseverance that Phisnom had! THE POWER OF SPITE!!!
Rjac combined every fnaf mechanic ever in the entire franchise in Night 6 where it was worth reading 50 books, which caused Phil to go insane. Great game 👍
A fine addition to the Phisnom Insanity Cinematic Universe

Allow me to summarize what you do for Night 6
Movement and Tools:
"A" Move Left
"D" Move Right
You can't move when you look at Golden Freddy's stage
"W" at Vent Walkways to move to Terminal 2
"Q" at Terminal 2 to look at vent
"E" to stop looking at vent
"S" to leave Terminal 2 and go back to Golden Freddy's stage.
Use Terminal 2 to remove a virus in Terminal 1 when you're regaining power.
"W" at Communications Post to move to Terminal 1 so you can regain power.
"E" to use cameras, this can be used anywhere (click arrows to switch cameras).
Move your mouse down and click to either bring up your mobile monitor or gas mask (bottom left).
Use your mobile monitor for certain characters, repairing gas leaks, suit integrity, and speakers.
Gas Mask is used for gas leaks and radiation.
12AM - 2AM:
S1 Freddy: He appears in the Vent Walkways. Press "1" "2" "3" and "4" on the mobile monitor (it doesn't matter in what order you press them).
S2 Foxy: He leaves pirate's cove and enters Stage 05 and he appears at the Vent. Use mobile monitor to play a noise and make Foxy leave.
S3 Chica: She appears at the Prototypes Table. Flip the Chica plush to make her leave (left click plushie to make it turn).
S4 Bonnie: He appears at Communications Post, listen to the guitar version being played then select the correct version in the mobile monitor.
Golden Freddy: If his speaker becomes unstable (a voice will be playing) press Q at Stage 05 to change volume. Press "E" when finished.
Shadow Freddy: He appears in one of the cameras. Once you find him click the purple button until he goes away.
2AM - 4AM:
Remnant BB: He appears at Communications Post. His torso opens up through three stages. Click on his torso to close it.
Minater Puppet: He switches between all of the cameras, find and look at him to make him leave. If failed he will become a hallucination on the screen.
Switch the camera once he's fully faded to make him leave. If he becomes a hallucination look at Golden Freddy on the stage. If you're already at the stage look away then look back.
Minater Baby: She sabotoges your power. Use the mobile monitor to view her memories. Select a positive memory to make her leave.
Remnant Puppet: He's on cam 5. If he's there then move the camera view by clicking the button on the left side of your camera.
Minater BB: Click on the button then hide and listen when BB is coming. Listen for him until he leaves.
Minater Ballora: She appears at the vent nearby the 2nd terminal. Listen for her voice so you can tell if she's close. She then plays a music box if she has arrived. If a low base note in playing then switch the tracks on the mobile monitor's side panel then look back at the terminal to make her leave.
4AM - 6AM:
Revenant Bonnie: He appears at either the vent or the stage. Use a drone on the camera monitor to make him leave.
Revenant Freddy: He plays a music box at the Prototypes Table. When the music box repeats press "4" "3" "2" "1" on the mobile monitor. You can restart the song with the camera monitor.
Remnant Foxy: He appears under the Prototypes Table. Use the camera monitor to give Foxy a bad memory to make him leave
Remnant Chica: She appears at the Communications Post. Turn the plushie to make her leave.
6AM:
Revenant's End: He will do 1 of 3 things:
1. He can stay in the elevator. You can walk over to the Elevator with a button prompt at the Prototypes table.
At the elevator open the doors to check for him. If he appears then close the doors for roughly 3 seconds. You need to make sure he is standing up. Press "S" to leave the elevator.
Note: After being at the elevator, he may head to either Stage 05 or the vent.
2. If he appears on the stage. Move to the vent and use an audio lure to bring him to the vent. Equip mask parts to make him leave.
3. If he appears at the vent then click on every button (left to right, bottom left to bottom right) to make a mask to make him leave.
Emalgabot: He will attack 1 of 3 ways:
1. If he's at the Communications Post use the Bonnie mask to make him leave.
2. If he's at the Prototypes table then use the camera monitor to stop the music that's playing. The button to stop the music can be on any of the cameras. You can recieve an error if you press the stop button. If an error happens, keep pressing the button until it works.
3. If he's under the Prototypes Table then you must look under the table and then use the camera monitor. Go to cams 1, 2, and 4 to use an audio lure to make Emalgabot leave.

"Bonnie will play 4D chess" is way too accurate
this games tutorial system is the definition of me trying to explain anything
I like to imagine that the person you play as is reacting to these things however you are, so if multiple people are playing or watching with the player at the same time, the character has multiple personalities reacting with each other.

What made FNAF great on its beginnings was that it had simple enough mechanics for the player to learn on its own (which was part of the experience) with a slight aid of an audio (phone guy) that plays only once each night.
You got to the experience right away even if no input from the player was needed.
Even as convoluted as it is, if all the bs was introduced one at a time through more gameplay time, it would not be as bad.
Imagine trying to explain in one go everything that can be done on Minecraft or TOTK. Well, these two have an advantage and that is that the things that the player can do are somewhat intuitive or make sense. Post shift is a "if A, do B", where A and B have little logical connection, in the sense that you must be told or otherwise you'd never make the connection.

And this, kids, is the story of how I almost FUCKING DIED OF INSANITY!!!
Whoever made these Post Shift games is a sadist in EVERY sense of the word.
this reminds me of the time i played a game called "idling to rule the gods" and i didnt understand shit i was supposed to do, so i left a review basically going "hey the tutorial made no sense and i have no idea what im supposed to do, there was so much text that said fuck all that i got a headache from it" (in much nicer terms mind you) and the dev of it basically said "its pretty simple if you read the tutorial"
the tutorial basically went over every aspect of the game, ever, through your entire playthrough, and youre expected to read all of it and comprehend it AT THE VERY START. i had no idea wtf i was supposed to do and the UI was shit too.
tdlr: long tutorials suck ass
This is by far the BEST stream I've ever seen.
I’m noticing a running theme of literature tormenting Phisnom.
You can already see from the intro alone that phisnom has gone insane at this point
This game is just 'I have lots of ideas so let's execute all of them in one game'.
I feel like this, would be torture worse than death that Phil and any Fnaf player would never wish upon their worst enemy.
I would wish this torture upon my enemies a million times over
this game is the perfect example of too many ideas
This game simultaneously drove me to continue my S-Ranking Journey in cuphead, because it was that hard. And I managed to S-Rank Mortimer Freeze and Moonshine Mob during the stream.
who made this and thought "yeah this is a great idea i'm sure everyone will love all 467 mechanics explained to them in an 80 page long, double spaced, MLA formatted essay despite the fact that you don't need the information just yet"
like who hurt you are you okay
This game is literally the "I summon pot of greed to draw three cards from my deck" shitpost
You can just SMELL the insanity leaking off of Phis when he was trying to read that final page lmao
The way his soul leaves his body multiple times trying to read the novel that is the night 6 tutorial 💀

I pranked myself by sitting through both streams in their entirety.
Neverless, fun streams to be a part of!

I hope there will be AT LEAST the same amount of tutorials in FNAF PLUS (mechanical complexity, you said...).
I love seeing people react to Post-Shift 2 specifically night 6’s actual fucking essay of a tutorial.
"The iconic Post Shift 2 Second Life Special"

Some of these mechanics are just like
Nagamoto Bonnie will be in the room to your left, while he’s there you must play a game of chess with him every other minute. Use your tablet to analyze each possible move and make the best one, if you don’t Nagamoto Bonnie will gain one anger level for each better move you could have made. If his anger level reaches more than 10, he will flip the chess board over and kill you. To prevent this, you will need to travel to the Target down the street and buy a specific brand of gummy bears based on what anger level he’s at. Feeding him the right brand will decrease his anger level by 2, but feeding him the wrong one will increase it by 2.
Seems pretty normal
