I’m new to shaman since last season I’ve wanted to play seeing one jump in and out of mechanics and back to melee after I died to them from the pirate one but the rotation was very intimidating. So I finally sat down and convinced myself now was the time Ijust did a plus 20 keys last night timed and was thrilled to see how it’s getting easier for me to play and not to mention how much fun they are. Only downside is the defensives I gotta still get down or get used to healing. I’m an unholy main but who knows might be enh main soon lol thanks so much your a hero man!

Going into Ghost Wolf does not prevent Soul Thorns. I'm not sure if this video was from PTR or if there were changes to this mechanic since this video was made, but this needs to be updated, as it does not work.
Yeah it no longer works. They patched it. You can see when the video was released by the way. This video came out before they patched the ghost wolf and soul thorns mechanic. I am not going to make an updated video just to add that in. Thanks for watching though!

in tyrannical weeks I was running without lashing flames but with swirling maelstorm and 2 points into elemental assault. Mobs were dying too fast to apply the lasing flames debuff and made it worth it. When I sim both specs (with lashing flames and without) for ST and MT, it is really a marginal difference. But without lashing flames and tab targeting, allows me a much more clean playstyle. What do you think about it? Why should I tab the targets for about 1 % dmg increase in a sim assuming perfect playstyle. Or does the sim do not cover it well. And great video!
What are your thoughts on Cataclysm Signet Brand? I see in your logs you go back and forth between that and Porcelain Crab during raid. Is that just a situational thing? Thanks!
Hey dude! Thanks for commenting, so to be completely honest, when I swap Talents it swaps my gear sometimes and I forget. Cataclysmic signet brand is definitely our best trinket for long fights 5+ minutes. I’m going to be using other trinkets for anything lower than that though.
Hey man! Good shit. I'm starting to figure out how this build works but I have still some doubts here. At 26:40 you mention to not waste primordial wave and lightning bolt with low weapon stacks. What are these weapon stacks you're talking about? thanks!
I think what i have the hardest time with is huge pulls. What do you do when the tank pulls over 7+ mobs? I feel like my AOE on huge pulls is less than 3-5 mob pulls. Do you still tab target? How do you find the targets with flameshock in the sea of health bars? What do you do when you have full maelstrom, HH procs, Pwave and wolves are off CD? I find myself in those situations the most
So the solution to this is very situational my friend. Is there a priority target that needs to die first? If so Spend maelstrom on Ele blast while wolves are out. And use all your lava lash into that target while maintaining crash lightning buff. Otherwise you need to tab through the mobs quickly between attacks to spread lashing flames. Try and generate as much maelstrom as possible to reduce the cd on wolves and primordial wave. Ideally in large pulls we want to get out like 3 primordial waves and 4 wolves. This is to resync feral spirit and primordial wave to get ready for the next pull but if all the enemies will die before you can get any additional wolves or primordial waves then try your best to have them synced for next pull. It’s hard to explain and easier to show, so if you want coaching sessions let me know.
You need to sim your character to know what is best for you. Ideally, you're going to be stacking as much mastery as you can. Once it's high enough, Wafting Devotion will have more value vs Sophic Devotion on your weapons due to diminishing returns. Stacking haste becomes less valuable once you've made that swap due to the interaction with Splintered Elements + P Wave. There is no set amount of haste/mastery to go by since everyone's stats and gear are going to be different, other than the softcap for mastery (roughly 88%). If you're not simming it, you're going to have a tough time knowing what brings YOU the most value.

Sorry for the late response! Been super busy after the holidays. For enhance the spec is very engaging and fun as all heck to play, especially this season with the new tier set. Wolves are up all the time, your Maelstrom Weapon generation is the best its been in years as well. It can be complicating to pick up at first and feel overwhelming as there are some buffs to juggle and target swapping but once you understand the priority spells then it gets easier. As long as you are not thinking too much into the spec and overcomplicate it yourself, it will be fine. As far as performance goes, it is doing great in both Raid and Mythic plus at the moment. Though it does feel squishier than other classes and it has very short range in melee. Positioning is a huge damage increase or loss depending on if done well or not. I hope all this helps. Cheers!

Addon called ElvUi, it’s a complete UI overhaul addon. You can’t download it through curse, you have to go to their website and then download it and drag and drop the files into the addons folder on your pc for the game. Old school way of installing addons.
The good news is that Elemental Blast and wolves will always line up, but sometimes you will cast lightning bolt even while wolves are out, based on maelstrom weapon stacks and the stacks of elemental blast.
when is it worth to lose maelstrom weapons generation due to lava lashing while hothands is active? Im asking this because i see myself sometimes not using lava lash enough when hothands is active. Like, sometimes i got 9 MW, 10stacks of hailstorm and HHproc, i keep getting confused if i go for icestrike + frost shock to spend hailstorms and then spend MWpns and generate them with LL or just waste Hailstorm stacks and LL+Spenders. What do you think?
Yeah was asking myself the same. Is it better to overcap hailstorm stacks or mw stacks. Is it better to keep lava lashing with hot hand procs. Nobody really covers that in guides
ALWAYS use lava lash every 2nd global during hot hand window. If yo'ure capped on maelstrom during a hot hand proc, cast ele blast - lava lash - icestrike - lava lash - frost shock - lava lash. This becomes even more important when you have flame shock on other targets, as it empowers your lava lash by a quite a lot.
So should I avoid casting ele blast at all when wolves are gone? I am seeing conflicting information in guides - some say to just use it as soon as you can (5+ mw stacks) when you have 2 charges of ele blast so you dont waste them, even if wolves arent up
If you are using them correctly, you will always have wolves up when you can ele blast, the time between your wolves isn’t enough for you to waste any charges of Ele Blast. So if you are at 1 charge of Ele blast and your wolves is up in < 10 seconds you should not use your Ele Blast yet. This is what I am saying.
Shadowlands made me very salty about Resto Shaman. I’ve been playing Shaman since “retail vanilla” Long story short I’m hoping enhanc is good and fun and I can feel good about playing the class I love again. 🙏🙏
I just don't understand why you would want to play a build where you have to tag each mob with lava lash. Not only is it an extremely clunky playstyle for enhancement, it is just seems too much effort for little to no reward. I mean unless they've buffed Flame shock to be like Enhancement's devouring plague I don't see how buffing a weak shitty dot to do 100% more damage is worth centering your build around. It is like you spotted a pair of spiked crutches and thought "damn that's cool" and limped off to go stab people with them.
I highly recommend that You check the difference in damage between spreading lashing flames and not. There is a very big difference in flameshock damage, if there wasn’t then this build and play style wouldn’t really be recommended. No one said it was easy!
Hey I’m using the same shaman weakaura for our spells and utility and I’ve been trying to make our utility bar not transparent. I still to this day can’t figure out how to change the display on those bottom spells. Do you have any idea on how to edit that so they’re more visible?

I don't know. I do all of this rotation and my 466 shaman makes 160 overall dps in 17-20 keys. My stuggle is AOE, every pack my dps is about 150-200k and i can't to see this numbers like you show - 400-450k. 5 dummy dps - 300|320k. How to bust AOE dps :C
If you want to do sub optimal damage you can play storm. Most people wont though and as mentioned in the video for the reasons why I didnt cover it in this video.

Poison totem is nice in Raid for the Council fight. Earth grab works great for Larodar, the last adds that spawn
I tried poison cleansing totem last night in raid on council for mythic and it was legit killing people 😂😂

Enhance is definitely one of the better specs right now for longevity, it has great raid damage and is good in m+ but it’s not the easiest.

Can you explain me how frost shock truly works? I waiting always for Ice strike, full Hailstorm and Maelstrom for using Frost shock.

Enhance is Very good right now and we are very unlikely to get nerfed unlike other over performing specs.
Do you lose a lot of dps from playing single storm? Or is it still viable?
Looking at the sims, it is quite a noticeable amount of damage but not end all be all.
Rotations have become so complex that they need to be explained via scripts. unfortunate that blizzard has made this so over complicated

I’m aoe it is recommended yes, you would always have 10 a way because you use CL at 10. In ST you can get away with like 8 stacks is fine.

Did you only read the spell priority? If so, go back and listen to what I am saying in the spell rotation section I simplify it in that section.

If you want to do sub optimal damage you can play storm. Most people wont though and as mentioned in the video for the reasons why I didnt cover it in this video.
