I've tried to find dnd 5e rules, class, etc. And it's just impossible if it isnt in the player handbook. And character builder apps are so weird and not intuitive, I gave up. Sarenrae bless Archive of Nethys and Pathbuilder!
@docaheal7384 I'm someone who played DnD for 10 years but left after hasbro started harassing people and used AI, and fired people just before Christmas I said enough is enough. I went to Pathfinder 2e and I have been loving the system. My players are having a blast we are currently running Wardens of Wildwood.
@docaheal7384 Really? DnD Wikidot as far as I remember has all of the 5th edition content. I admit earlier editions are harder but 5e is pretty easy to find theirs a ton of sites even if they can be disorganised.
@@ChurroMaster depends on what you and your players want, Wardens so far is a good mix of combat and story, but there are a lot of sub systems in it at the start. We are on book 1 chapter 2. If your players are newer I might skip over it because it might be too overwhelming with all the sub systems. We first started with the adventure box to get a taste of the game then jumped into the adventure path Abomination Vaults which is like a mega dungeon with a lot of combat. If your players are really into the combat you can't go wrong with Abomination Vaults.
PF2 has more details you need to get into as a player to really get the most of it, (but it's worth it.), but what really sold me was being a GM for pf2. It's SOOO much easier to build the encounters and run them. And even their pre-built adventure paths are much more fleshed out making it easier on me as an amateur GM/DM
I was about to mention that building encounters and running them is incredibly easy. The rigid math for each level makes it so you really can make a fight however you want and it not be completely destroyed by a singular option that your players might have, and having their choices in combat really matter.
DND has bars, but it has nothing to say about himself except its easier and has brand recognition, much like IRL, while pathfinder actually can rap about its system
As a DM in both sistems i could say that both suffers from the same problems differently. The same homebrew i have to use to make DnD less flat i have to use to make Pathfinder less granular cuz what one wrongs in oversimplification the other does in being too convoluted for the sake of being "Deep". Both are great, but i dont even feel like they are the same kind of game, to me DnD is a action game, Pathfinder is a strategy game.
I play both every week. They tell different stories. DnD is more power fantasy and Pathfinder does similar but as you grow so do the threat levels. I do think the runes can get a bit confusing, and I only run Pathfinder digitally now as it's a lot to track on paper and the automation keeps the game moving. DnDs rules don't need the automation as much and i have played it both digitally and physically, but sure to how the roles are written any attempt at automating all rules hits a wall ime
Reminds of when dnd published a belt for monks or something and the pathfinder community was like TheY StOLe iT FroM pAtHfiNdEr!11!!1 like bro do you even know what pathfinder is?
A friend of mine who thinks PF2 is too complicated, picked up Warhammer 40k. I can't win
yeah you can't lmao
The power of herd mentality is strong.
But PF2 is more complicated than WH40k.
oh wow
PF2 is complicated. It is awfully explained
PF1 was easy coming from 3rd
A D&D vs PF2e video that isn't toxic???? The king does it again!
I mean you can play Pathfinder basically for free with Archives of Neithy's and Pathbuilder.

@@Apheleion I've been considering an Adventure Path for a campaign or something! What do you think if that one?

it took me too long to realize that's Ronald
The resemblance is unintentional, but maybe not a coincidence
Was my thought too, crooked glasses and all
LMAO we gotta side with PF2e on this one.

...Is the Pathfinder guy Ronald???
Pf2e wins in my opinion. Sounded like dnd ran out of things to talk about and started defending itself.
The ttrpg fan in me loves this. But the rap fan in my is dying 😭.
On a side note, pf2e won mostly cause his bars were true
I don't consider any song successful unless at least one person says it ruined music for them
I have my PF2E biases of course, but 5E had some good lines man. XD
secretly both were acted by KingOogaTonTon, the true maestro bard
oof the shade in the last verse to youtubers.
I love all King Oogatonton videos!
damn I could use a video explaining preremaster Oracle through rap
Awesome video! Straight fire!
Personally, Quit 5e because of how much work I have to do to make things work in that system. Pathfinder is so much easier to run.
Love it! Well done. A worthy addition to your plethora of awesome videos. Cheers 😁
Pretty sweet. I might have added a line for Pathfinder about how most of WotC's worlds haven't been developed enough in a long time.

So, the math does trip me up, but it cant be all that complicated, right? I mean to say, whats the secret to it?
Pathfinder looking at this be like: weaklings
they call it Mathfinder as if they don't think a game's mechanics should make sense
no math, only clickity clackity!
Fair on both sides
This was amazing! Love your content dude
They both make great points, they where both spiting, at this point it down to preference
Bringing up the ai slop and how DND is just trying to be inclusive while pf2e has been for 20+ years would had been fair
I think pathfinder won for sure, but D&D had good lines
I got to say, DnD didn't even try to rhyme at the end. I guess that's what happens when you are at the top. It doesn't matter.
"I wont deny that DND has the brand name and the fame" - Absolutely correct. I think you were too easy on Pathfinder. Thank you for the video.
Let's not forget that D&D has richer mythologies than Pathfinder
They've been around long enough to screw their own lore up and put it all back together again.
