  • From the March 2023 edition of "Kenny's Loggin'", Ken Wilson tells the story of how Norie Bros. obtained six war surplus Mack trucks. They had 671 Jimmy motors and came with a bare minimum cab. For this story, Ken consulted with Ian McCallum, who worked for Nories in the 50’s and 60’s, driving all these trucks.

This video sure brings back memories of the late 80's and 90's tamping the logging camps in South East Alaska, Silver Bay, Soderberg logging, Logging POW I was their for the end to the 50 year contract years. The good years was before myself when there was big wood standing in Alaska one and two log loads. Thanks for this video.

Great movie. Too bad Mack stopped making these off-road trucks.

At 1 min 13 that truck hasn't been loaded properly. Too much dirt on one side.
