Here's an amazing fact, to do with "Carrie" (1976). "Carrie" is iconic in every respect, from its begining to its end. The tragic story of an abused outcast teenager with telekinesis taking revenge on her high school prom struck a major cord with viewers, but director Brian De Palma had one final trick up his sleeve to terrify even Stephen King himself. To film Sue Snell's nightmare scene, actress Amy Irving walked and moved backwards, and reverse motion was used to give the illusion of her walking forwards. When Carrie grabs Sue's arm, that really was Sissy Spacek buried under the stones. Even with the book it was based on being a best seller, Stephen King was doubtful that the film would work, and only gained his confidence when he and his wife attended a screening with a completely black audience. Two men sat in front of them screamed their lungs out and grabbed each other at the ending.
There's an often forgotten or overlooked fact about CARRIE. In all three versions, Carrietta White was portrayed by small women- Sissy Spacek, Angela Bettis, and Chloe Grace Moretz-and all three women were great in the role. However, the character, as written in the novel, was actually overweight.
King's wife also saved Carrie when it was just a book too. King thought the story was no good so he threw away the first couple chapters. His wife found it, read it, and told Stephen he needed to finish it because she needed to know how it ended. He has his wife to thank for his career making first story
The original artwork for the Genie in Disney's Aladdin,he was going to be purple and wore a turban. They decided later that all the good guys would wear blue and the bad guys red,so the Genie was redrawn as blue.
Robin Williams made it clear to Disney producers that he did not want to have the genie in the marketing of the movie of Aladdin. But they broke that agreement so Robin Williams had like a lawsuit as well as did not work for them for some years because of it.
The Crow: The most iconic scene: the first look at The Crow makeup in the window with lightning... was not Brandon Lee. Early CGI took the face from an unused scene to paste on the body double. That body double fell in love with fight choreography while filming scenes to make-up for the tragic loss of Brandon Lee. He fell so in love with it, he went on to study film making and directed a little film series called... John Wick.
Last fact i had to cry because it reminded of of nightline news the day he passed away and they played his line “you’ll always be a prince to me” from the movie. We all still miss you Robin wish you were still here making us laugh
In Kubrick's The Shining, Nicholson had worked as a volunteer fire marshal and tore it apart far too easily. The props department was then forced to build a stronger door.
I see Tarantino as an imaginative man living in his own world hyping the untold stories of the nitty-gritty. I might not share his values but I can't help but admire and respect his art.

My favorite little known movie fact is about the Peter Sellers film 'Being There'. Sellers had said his entire career up to that point had merely been training for that movie. 6 months after the film's completion Sellers died of a heart condition, at just 54 years of age.
_Being There_ is one of my favorite movies! “I like to watch, Eve.” Also, I was living in WDC at the time, and some of the shooting was in my neighborhood-I wasn’t there at the same time as the filming was going on, but I recognized something…a park maybe?

In the exorcist movie the “serial killer” only murdered one man… the other men were pinned on him because the guy he killed was gay and there was an actual serial killer going around killing and dismembering them, throwing them in the river. The man he killed was more out of passion and was not dismembered. Either way he did kill a gay man but only one.

I don’t care for the vast majority of QT films. However, I really enjoyed Kill Bill and KB V2 - mainly because of the martial arts scenes (I am a martial artist, as is my husband) and secondarily due to the music. The soundtrack was EPIC.
Won some Twin Peaks merch for knowing that Dark Vader's body was 'playred' by body builder turned actor David Prowse. He and fellow Star Wars alumni Peter Cushing were both involved with the Doctor Who franchise: David played the Minotaur in the Doctor Who television story The Time Monster. Peter played The Doctor iñ the second cinematic release of a Doctor Who movie...

In Martin Scorsese's iconic 1976 dark drama Taxi Driver, Iris (Jodie Foster) is walking with another woman played by Garth Avery who was a New York prostitute that Foster shadowed to help her with the development of her character. The later scene where Iris meets Travis finds her ordering toast with jam and adding sugar to her meal. Ok sorry for talking so long I just thought it was funny that youd talk about that movie. Keep doing what your doing its awesome and very interesting
Not all of Quentin Tarantino's films link up really. In Kill Bill volume 2 Michael Madsen dies by a black mamba bite, and in Reservoir Dogs he does by being shot by Mr. Orange. And Uma Thurman is a mob wife in Pulp Fiction, then basically a ninja in Kill Bill. Django has nothing to do with any of his other movies, and so on and so on. Still loved the list👍. Thanks for your hard work guys❤.

Ok sorry for talking so long I just thought it was funny that youd talk about that movie. Keep doing what your doing its awesome and very interesting
There is actually a home made scary movie about going on a trip into the woods that made like 700,000% profit and had a budget of about $20k
Not a huge Tarantino fan, but I love Resevoir Dogs.
I met Tony Todd at a Star trek convention he was great to everyone.
Recommending people to see Se7en if they hadn't seen it, yet gives away the reveal of Doe's identity. Nice play, Mike! 😂😂
Yayy it's my friend Mike !!!
20:40 Correction. Pitt’s arm is in a cast from that point on. I believe he is in a sling at some point, but not the rest of the movie
Perfect for my 4 mile walk home! 😅❤😂🎉
I agree with you Mike, I'm not a fan of QTs movies either.😊
I don't normally gush aout movies. The acting was good, like I said
everything. Thank you for letting me tell you.
So many things have become... how do you say it... Iconic
Love your shirt, Mike! Even though I'm a Gryffindor myself.
I wonder if there are any interesting facts about the filming of the Back to the Future franchise, as I love that trilogy so dang much...! 😃
Fact, I am SO with you on UP and QT movies!
I liked Up but not a fan of QT's movies
