    I definitely love having an 80cc blower, the price can be disheartening , however no matter how big or small your operation is, I still find it a very important part of my arsenal of tools to " make life easier "

    Probably fun to use in the heavy leaves but to be honest it's also great to have the older model blowers with you as well for the landscape beds. If you point the tip of an echo 9010 at mulch then you know what I mean

    I just tried the new EBZ 9000 today November 9, 2024. The neighbors next to an account I have let me try it out at my job. It does have a lot of power. From about 1/8 to 1/4 the engine rpms surge when you hold the throttle steady in that throttle range. This model has the throttle on the tube. When you push on the accordian part of the tube with your finger it stays dented in. Also I noticed more vibration at full rpm than on the Husky BTS 580 mark 2, same as Red Max 8500 basically. And more vibration than the Echo blowers. You are spot on with your evaluation. I think they need a bit of fine tuning. Like when Echo went from the 8010 to the 9010.

    Warning: Because of that flimsy tube elbow, Redmax will definitely be doing a recall and after a couple of years, and will pull this thing off the market. Looks exactly like the elbows Echo used on the Echo 8010 a few years back. When it folds up like that, it causes the motor to work too hard and soon, engine problems will develop.
    The CFM it was designed for is trapped in the elbow and not actually coming out the tube. Echo recognized this after two years of warranty issues. They discontinued the 8010 and replaced it with the 9010 with a thicker/stiffer elbow. Echo 9010 REMAINS the most powerful blower in the blower market....one man's opinion

    Echo 8010 had same issue with flexi part of tube was fixed for the 8010 part 2 and wasn’t an issue for the 9010 yes redmax will be the new king but if already running 9010 no point in switching for 100 cfm

    Guess we gotta wait til the fall to see comparison videos with the 9010 and br800. The tube on this looks better than the 9010 maybe, 9010 is heavy and cumbersome compared to the br800.

      Br800 for the win. The 800 is just way more comfortable on the back and the tube is way easier to throw. That little bit of power isn’t worth the cons the 9010 & 9000 have. When you have machines to move heavy debris when it builds up the extra power isn’t necessary

    I would say it's going to be powerful enough for your fall leaf clean-up.
    Why they made that Flex Tube like that is a good Question.

    New is not always better , what is that metal tapping noise ? Sounds like you're tapping a metal pan with a hammer , that tube is a joke ! Have you tried a tube from your 8560 on it ? $800. ! I don't think so , i can pick up a 8560 for $549. 👍 keep that 9000 garbage

    • @Born2doom
      @Born2doom 5 месяцев назад

      That “metal tapping” noise is the sound of the engine exhaust 🤣 it’s a bigger 80CC engine. And the flex tube yeah that issue needs to be fixed but it’s lighter than the 9010 tube
