The Ballaugh Bridge is a hump-backed road bridge over a stream situated between the 17th and 18th Milestone road-side markers on the Snaefell Mountain Course in Ballaugh village.

Yep!! As a young lad, on my GSXR750, I would jump WestPark and Fondren train tracks, in southwest Houston!! One of the fewgood things about living there!

My little hamlet was ok, but Hou. is like London or Los Angeles, so big & terrible!!!!!! I LOVE Cardiff CA.!!! & Carlsbad CA.!!!! AND you?, where U hail? And yor tag name!!, my whole existence is 'dystopian'! haha, sigh, SADDDDD!!! really!!

I think the competitors in the TT are among the best Riders in the world, correction they are the best.
The Marshalls are almost as brave as the riders at times. Respect to them.

Unfortunately a rider named Bob Price was brutally killed in 2014 at the age of 65 when his throttle got stuck and smashed head first into the wall you as guys see there. R.I.P.

agostinis friend died on this bridge in 72 . i was introduced to aggo before the race . on a tall ship .
Agostini's close friend,Gilberto Parlotti, was killed in 72 after crashing at the Verandah on the mountain section of the TT circuit. The Verandah is miles away from Ballaugh Bridge and on the other side of the circuit.

That building with the lettering, " The Raven" actually took the life of a racer because he drove into the wall at 100mph+, quite sad to realise.
Bob price was his name aged 65.😥God's on the throttle the lot of them I was there in 2019 best place on earth. Roll on 2020

I remember seeing the footage of some poor sod who went straight into the pub wall. I don't think he suffered. Hideously, I can't see any straw bales or anything at that point, which is callous on the part of the organisers.

@@multa765 There were crash barriers when Bob Price went into the side of the Raven, but crash barriers can only do so much when you smash into the side of a solid object at 100mph.

marshal posts are in line of sight, the previous post will be holding a stationary yellow flag , to warn riders, as it will be approaching the bridge, they will know the problem is on the other side
