Hi I used to work in ikea but not ikea philippines tho as what I remember before leaving. Ikea is actually having some issues with the shipments of their products around the world and so as other companies as well because of pandemic where everything was shutdown so there are some production issues as well and now that we are slowly opening up the shipping docks are quite full ships have to take turns unloading and factories are doing their best to catch up with the supply demand so I guess we should also consider that. You can actually ask the staff in Ikea when is the estimated restock for the item because usually they can see it in the system if when is the scheduled delivery for it or if there is a supply issue of the product 😊
The first IKEA Store we visited years back was in Oslo, Norway, it's the same concept in different branches around the world. IKEA Philippines is definitely the world's largest and our Norwegian friends are coming over to the Philippines wanting to go to largest IKEA branch in the world besides visiting the beautiful places in our country.

Is this IKEA the only one in Philippines? That may be why so crowded and so many things out of stock. In California, USA, I've been to 4 different IKEA stores. My home was in San Francisco but I drove 2 hours to go to IKEA Sacramento because they had an item I wanted “in stock” there. Inventory is a problem here in USA also. But, you can check if item you want is "in stock" at other stores.

Currently living in Sweden and it really makes me glad that i don't have to wait this long on IKEA/s. But i'm jealous because IKEA Philippines looks nicer and they literally sell Filipino snacks/foods, because here the food they're selling is either not the type of dish i like or bland foods. Since they don't use a lot of spices other than salt and pepper, like the fishes for example tastes like nothing at all and they like to pair it with boiled potatoes that doesn't really go well with each other XD. But who knows, some of you guys might like it. And if you ever gonna visit Sweden try their favorite sweet/treat "Lakrits", i personally don't like it. But! You might. XDXDXD
All those complicated combinations of spices, filipinos just don't care for much. To filipinos, all they need are the basic, salt, sweet, tangy, sour or bitter taste.

2 rules in going to places that are packed with people here in PH are 1.) Go early 2.) Go weekdays, never go on weekends, and esp. if payday drops on weekends, I can assure you the flock of people in the mall is like x100 (and the traffic too).

Online shopping is a thing too and IKEA covers more delivery locations there, so people don't even really have to go. Honestly, with it being the biggest in the world, IKEA should hire more staff to accommodate customers. Especially temporary staff 'cause most likely, after the novelty wears out, there won't be that many people going there.

The biggest IKEA store in the world is in the Philippines but it took hours for the shoppers to dine-in and check-out for their stuff? I guess the answer is that we have more shoppers here in the Philippines (as you can see in the video). We have more money and we spent a lot than you guys in NORTH AMERICA 😄 IKEA should extend their building to accommodate more customers.
@@kirbybanaga3359 There are a lot of IKEA branches in North America, so naturally, not everyone will go to one branch, unlike the case in the Philippines. Online shopping is a thing too and IKEA covers more delivery locations there, so people don't even really have to go.
Honestly, with it being the biggest in the world, IKEA should hire more staff to accommodate customers. Especially temporary staff 'cause most likely, after the novelty wears out, there won't be that many people going there.
