Leather and suede jackets should be cleaned by a professional leather cleaner so you shouldn't bring it to the dry cleaner's. Most likely, they will also just bring it to a professional leather cleaner that's why it would take that long. But I always bring vintage or preloved leather jackets (and fur jackets/coats as well) to a specialised cleaner. It takes approx. 2-3 weeks to get it done and does not cost lower than 50€. Sometimes, the cleaning alone is more expensive than the price I paid for the jacket but it is what it is!
Love everything, except for the Amazon faux suede bag (looks rather cheap from afar - the edge finish doesn't look neat and the handles look deformed)!
