- Hiya! So today I'm reacting to Good Will Hunting (currently Number 81 on IMDb's chart of 250 Greatest Movies of All Time). After this video, however, I will mostly be using suggestions found in the comments instead of choosing from a list at random. I appreciate the support you've shown by viewing my past videos and/or this one. Thank you for watching!
Visit / whimsory for full-length reactions! (Must bring your own copy!)
The fart story scene was completely improvised by robin williams and the laughter by matt damon was genuine. In fact, you may notice the camera was shaking a bit because the cameraman and crew were breaking up with laughter. The director liked it so much, he kept the scene in the film.
the "son of a bitch stole my line" at the end was also improvised by Williams. he was just brilliant
I love when innocent people don’t get Skylar’s joke where she has the drink in her mouth for the punchline.
Same lol.
Huh? Oooh...like 'muricans 2023+?

@@seanmulligan3037 So, You do NOT swallow....tsk,tsk from the OL' world 😛
How can you not get that joke? 😅🤨
This movie won two Academy Awards, Best Supporting Actor for Robin Williams and Best Original Screenplay for Ben Affleck and Matt Damon. It was their first ever screenplay.
For another Robin Williams movie that will make you cry, you should watch Dead Poets Society. And I think you would love The Shawshank Redemption as well, but can't say why without giving spoilers. It is just the #1 movie on IMDB Top 250 list.
Apparently Matt and Ben wanted to make it into a thriller much like 'A beautiful mind' with Russel Crowe. When they showed it to Rob Reiner and stated their intention Rob asked them why they were trying to ruin this great script lol. Needless to say they took Robs advice.
Good call, Dead P Society is powerfully good
If you're going to do Shawshank, you might as well add The Green Mile to the list!
@@bobcharles1204 But then she won't have anything bad to say about it either. 😀
RW can make you cry even in Mrs. Doubtfire.... Practically anything with him in it is great. Good Morning Vietnam, What Dreams May Come, The Birdcage (special mention to Hank Azaria)...
You’re definitely one of the more insightful reactors I’ve watched. A lot of folks just very superficially give their take on the movie, no real analysis, no real examination of themes, no real discussion about the film’s place in culture. What really makes reactions transformative is what it makes you think and feel, not the big pops when something dramatic happens. Keep it up, I’m really looking forward to what you do next.
Thank you SO much. This means a lot to me 🤗
I understand the impluse to kiss A and make a pleasant image of yourself. We all need to good sales pitch when we sell ourselves.
I don't know it's fair to claim there's a majority of people who half A it in the same breath, however.
Just sayin.
@@ivankawnartist I'm pretty consistently disappointed by reactions when it ends and they go "Wow that was amazing! Well thanks for watching, remember to like comment and subscribe." It feels shallow and insincere
@@casualcausalityy W
I gotchu on the math.
The first problem was about walks on graphs, more or less a routine problem in linear algebra. The second problem was also about graphs, determining how many different graphs are equivalent to a given one of a certain shape. That one’s not too hard either. The third problem you asked about is a bit harder, and it’s about finding a formula for the number of ways to color the vertices on that Triforce-looking shape such that no two adjacent vertices have the same color. Although they’re not super-hard or particularly deep problems, they are also not trivial exercises, they are real, and they do look nice on film when you present the shapes and equations for the audience.
Thanks for reacting to one of my favorite movies of all time!
Hyrule!
I pretty much figured as this. As a software engineer, I'm aware that most computer languages look complicated to those who don't understand it, when in reality, it's not all that difficult, it just takes a logical mind to understand. I know mathematics is the same. It's ironic, I can write algorithms in several computer languages, but not so much in mathematics languages.
The math is real, but it's not what they presented it as. They presented a lot of it as something that a serious mathematician would really look deeply at, something that would be meaningful because of its insight, and while they could have used stuff like that they didn't. Nothing in this movie is nothing more than high-level busywork.
@@matthew55793 Eh, the linear algebra stuff, you're right, because hundreds of students would learn that, but some of that is upper division undergrad stuff. Which makes sense narratively. I mean my school had just one undergrad combinatorics class. It's niche stuff, IMHO. Certainly not profound, but that's like 20 kids out of tens of thousands that would come across that stuff in most universities.
Very well put. I got a headache trying to recall my college finite math, etc..and they are real problems. There was just so much rust on my brain it took days to get through the first 2, a month to get thru the 3rd. lol. I entered the banking/finance field where none of this was applicable at Charles Schwab. lol. But it was worth the revisit just to see if I could work thru it. Common core has ruined students minds ( the smart ones). Forcing the top of the class to come down to the idiot level with dots and diagrams when all you need to do is carry a digit to the next column. This is why the avg IQ has dropped 9 points in 30 years.
We were taught to learn how to think on our own in the 80s...now they tell them WHAT to think based on 1% of weirdos in this country. Its a shame.
Stick with random picks, a "blind" reaction is part of your charm. If they're in the top 250 they've already been recommended.
Great job so far on all your movie reactions. Thoughtful and honest emotion. Also,, loving your editing choices. The cat was a bonus. Look fwd to more from you.
SECONDED!
These vids and reactions are a fresh take and are so welcomed.
Thank you for your input! You make a great point about the top 250--I hadn't thought about it like that. I really appreciate ya 😊
@@Whimsory My god, yes! Please listen to elle's comment! As much as I like reaction videos, there's always a point where everybody ends up doing the same reactions to either movies, series or songs, and it gets predictable and boring. But not you; your videos are like fresh air, you are different and very original, and choosing randomly from a list plays a great part in achieving that. You are doing great! Keep on like that =)
Thirded! (is that even a worded)?
I totaly agree
I just found your channel, and I want to say: I love that your post movie discussion is after editing, so you have had some time to digest the movie. That is a really nice touch.
I know, the random picks (that we see in real time), the post edit discussion… how did she end up being so original in this fairly saturated style of channel? Does she have a huge brain? Her head doesn’t look huge, but maybe everything in the background is just bigger than normal, and we’re looking at one of the hugest brains on RUclips…. She must have a strong neck to hold up such a huge juicy brain…
Too much? 🤣🤣😁
It's cool that you recognized how Will and Sean helped each other. I also appreciate that Sean and Professor Lambeau were both trying to help Will. They just had different approaches to helping him.
The writing, acting, direction and music in this movie are all top notch. Great reaction. Thank you for this.
This movie always makes me think that we all ought to try more with the people in our lives, so many things could be improved by patience and communication.
Yes, so true! I'm blown away by how many people "can't deal with this". They don't want to even try to understand, but they give up as if they've already invested so much when they haven't even started yet... Anywho, frustration lol
I grew up with the same type of childhood. I'm 32 years old and I've been and still am healing from it all.
If you did not grow up with an abusive / alcoholic environment it's nearly impossible to understand the amount of issues you get downloaded onto you. Everyone basically thinks you're crazy, you get called many names, etc. You learn to lie to protect yourself from an early age even to doctors, "I fell down the stairs and there was a knife at the bottom..." type of lies. It's rough to trust anyone after abuse and lies start early from your "guardians".
When there's no one else to take care of you, and you don't believe that any adult wants to actually help you out... you have to do whatever it takes to survive.
This movie really helped me not feel alone growing up and really helped me grasp that only I was in the way of a better future for myself.
Haven't read through all the comments, but I want to also say what I've seen a few of them saying: I love your reactions. You're very honest and authentic, and I think what a lot of us who watch reaction videos are looking for is the experience of sharing things we love with other people. Your reactions are very natural, charming, and you seem to put a lot of thought into everything. I look forward to sharing more of these moments with you!
This movie gets me everytime. Robin Williams absolutely crushes it in this role. Every speech he gives feels like being directed right at you as well as Will Hunting. Excellent pick.
do you know a movie where Robin doesn't perform? :D
@@6666Imperator Being Human. Worst movie ever maybe except Nope.
@@6666Imperator He was a great performer, but there are some films where he didn't have much to work with in regards to the character written for him.
That's why he won the Oscar for this role.
I love that you called Will and Sean’s relationship “symbiotic”. I said it in my head right before you said it, and even though I’ve seen this film at least a couple dozen times, I never quite articulated it that way in my mind, even though it’s kind of abundantly clear, looking back. It really is the perfect way to describe them. They sincerely needed one another to push through the difficult crossroads in their respective lives. Brilliantly written.
Rest in peace Robin Williams. Definitely will be missed. One of his good novels is Patch Adams. Makes me cry every time
That was an excellent reaction. Your insights afterwards were spot on. Great job. Oh, and just so you know, part of the reason the banter in the car was so good is that the guy in the back seat (that ran around and jumped in the front seat at the end) is Casey Affleck, Ben's younger brother. Casey went on to win an Academy award for Best Actor in 2017 for Manchester By the Sea.
Oh wow, that makes so much sense! I can totally see it now😂 And thank you!
I watch a lot of reactions of this movie as it is one of my favorites. Beware copyright strikes for music, the NSA scene monologue, and any of the full monologues, FYI. Many people end up having to cut those.
I enjoyed your reaction and I find it really elucidating to see someone react who doesn't have a strong understanding of Will's inherent distrust of everyone. You're in the majority I'm sure, but it's refreshing to see how it looks like from that side; The frustration with his self-sabotage and irritation that he just can't make anything of his talents. It's like you understand on paper, but not internally what it's like to be that broken. I found that refreshing and interesting.
Hey Whim. Yep still sticking with it. I watch a lot of reaction channels and I'm so happy I found yours. It's so much fun to watch younger generations experience movies for the first time. To see the joy the heartbreak the surprise. It takes me back to all the emotions that I felt when I first saw these movies. I'm so looking forward to you going through this list. It's going to be a fun journey especially when you started off with a couple of heavy hitters. Unsubscribe to a lot of channels but I'm so glad I found yours. You're a bright light. And I like your hat. See you on the next one. You're awesome ❤️💚☘️🇺🇦
This is what movies now a day don't do anymore, amazing storytelling and making you feel. Miss movies like this
They exist, people just don't know where to look. I've mostly abandoned Hollywood but they still surprise me sometimes. But they exist out there, somewhere. Sometimes as a short TV series, or film that flies under most people's radar or films people avoided because they believed they wouldn't of liked them.
When I mean you have to look outside of Hollywood. I mean video games are a good example with some of the best stories the last twenty years, or film/TV markets like Japan's animated film industry which has produced some of the best films of our generation.
That being said, not everything is about story telling either. Presentation matters as well. Perfect blend of atmosphere, music, dialogue, camera work. Even if one element is missing it can completely destroy a scene. I mean it is what makes a movie vs just a short story you've read. You can take the best story ever written and still make a bad movie of it even if you have every ounce that story present.
@@Alte.Kameraden offcouse they do, and I am glad they do, but it's a very low% of movies
@@Berg126 the % is about the same actually, but they’re not marketed the same anymore because the big franchise movies are what make money. Good Will Hunting, if made today wouldn’t probably even crack the top 25 but back then was in the top 10 box office movies. I don’t blame Hollywood, I blame audiences. Hollywood is a business after all and they have to make money. Audiences spoke with their wallets unfortunately.
Great reaction! I love Williams in this one. He's rightfully loved as a comedic actor, but this is one of those memorable dramatic performances he had that really showed his range and depth of feeling. An absolutely unforgettable performance.
I appreciate how much you're getting invested in these movies and are taking the time to look at them analytically as well as emoting to what you see (though that's great too). Not every reactor is as mindful about character motivations and theming as that. I hope you keep it up. Tell your cat I also appreciate them and their vigilance in guarding the wall socket.
I support doing random IMDb picks because it can be fun and a good way to start, but whenever you feel comfortable doing so I would still suggest looking for other sources of recommendations. That list has a lot of great movies but is also fairly flawed with a lot of recency bias and weighs votes in a way that a lot of major blockbusters that (while decent movies) maybe shouldn't be on it are there. It tends to over-prioritize American films as well since a disproportionate number of people rating films will be American. 20 of the top 100 are non-English language. Over half the movies in the top 100 came out after 1990 and about a third since 2000, in a medium about 120 years old. To be clear, the movies that are on that list that I've seen are generally good movies and are worth watching, and ultimately you will probably enjoy watching them, but there's also a lot you'll miss out on if you strictly stick to that list long-term. At some point if you feel up to it I would suggest looking up some critics' top film lists, or perhaps things like Oscar nominated films of the past or the AFI (American Film Institute) lists (though the latter also is strictly American cinema by definition), etc. etc. To be clear I'm not saying this is something you need to think about right now, but If you eventually decide that film is a medium you really like and want to explore deeply, this will probably be something you'll want to do at some point.
I lived like him for a long time. Therapy was a long process. What people without near perfect recall do not realize is that you recall trauma perfectly. I'm in my 40's and I can remember things from when I was under 4. I remember my potty training, because my Dad used the fear method.
Also, it's really bad for relationships when you can recall entire conversations. My exes really hated me being able to describe not just the words, but the clothing we both were wearing.
The dog doesn't have those issues.
fun fact: something similar actually happened in reality where a guy had a tendency to get late to class. One time he was very late so he only got the homework which he wrote from the board. Went home and tried solving it but couldn't and he couldn't ask the professor about it because he didn't want to get called out for missing the lecture. So in the end he solved it and gave the prof his book. He thought he might be too late but apperently he just solved one of the unsolvable math questions and mostly because no one told him that it couldn't be solved :D
I'll just add my voice to the many others who have already said how much we appreciate you after only three reactions! 👍 I've never caught your TikTok stuff, but you're obviously very comfortable in front of the camera. As someone nearing 60 years old, I'm so happy to see a relatively young person being exposed to so many great films for the first time! You've chosen very well so far. I look forward to your next one!
Just got recommended your channel, subbed. You are such a character, stay you!
You might be a slow editor but these are well made videos. If this is the starting point I think you’re pretty much set. Keep doing whatever you’re doing because the results are pretty good.
"eh? oh he's callin him stupid" lol you're adorable
30:28. "They don't grow on trees!" Well said.
Another great reaction!! And I'm seconding what some of the others are saying! A big part of the appeal to me that makes you unique IS the fact that your reactions have been random up to this point. We can all see the list you're reading from and honestly that's enough. It's actually more fun to try and guess which movie you're going to pick next!
Great job. Presence along with entertaining commentary...I'm all in. My favorite line, "What, are you at my house? Just kidding, I do dishes...sometimes." Delivered with an honesty that we all can understand. Bravo. Can't wait for your next reaction.
Great reaction to Good Will Hunting.
You are doing such a wonderful job with your reactions so far, you come across as very charming, honest and connected.
Such great performances in GWH and such a mature, perceptive script, especially for two such young men. At the time I was always dreading some story discrediting their screenplay as ghostwritten by someone else, but it never happened, thankfully.

idk why i am just so happy that ur reaction tells ALOT about who you are when you are watching this movie and i pray to god nothing will change that and i hope you will always be happy and innocent for ever. There is alot, ALOT of "fight or flight" moment in this movie that i am sure that almost every single viewer/reactor wish they will never understand or come to a understanding because they seem or has personal expertise or past that has to do with it and it rings the bell also me and myslef i always HATE it when i see the way they put it in the movie and i am like "oh so thats what happen with that person in my life" anyway i saw this movie when i was young, maybe 6years ago and now... all means different to me. Keep up the good work!
Great reaction. Another Robin Williams film which will surely bring tears. Awakenings.
Love I found you channel keep up the fun reviews…lovelovelove ❤️🌸✌🏻
Glad you enjoyed this, it really is growing into a classic film. Nuts that they made it and won an oscar when they were so young.
So many movies to recommend, but how about something impossibly stylish, sweet and French :) Amelie from 2001 (imdb 8.3, #102 in 250 Top Movies)
Another great reaction. I just looked at the list and I understand why you are picking movies from it, but it is just opinions. So what matters most is what you personally think of the movie. Out of the movies on the list, I would recommend "To Kill a Mockingbird". It is an older movie but is very important historically. It also has a great script, great acting, and was a protest against racism at a time when racism was rampant. It is Black and White but I'm sure you would enjoy it. Keep up the good work.
So far the movie list hasn't been wrong lol.
I'm glad you're enjoying them so far!
I appreciate the funny editing and post movie talk.
Thank you for all your hard work and excited for the next one:]
Your reactions are so genuine. Keep up the great work!
Enjoying this channel so much I had to go back for this one.

I'm sorry you had to go through that. I hope you are healing, and I'm grateful you made it out, friend. Thank you🙏
It's 11:23 pm here. I wanted to go to bed before midnight, but then I saw this video posted. Oh well, I known what my priorities are. I guess I won't be going to bed after all. BTW, GTW is one of my favorite movies of all time.
"Does this violate the patient doctor relationship? Only if you tuch grab my ass" Meanwhile we have a kitty cleaning itself behind its back legs. Perfect timing.
Ty for another amazing reaction. It did make my day better!
I would say Will is more afraid that she will be dissapointing in him then him get dissapointed in her. Like Robin williams character said, he wants to leave before they leave him, hurt them before they could hurt him. The thing that makes us be frustradet with Will for me is that he is so real, not all movie characters feels real and genuin.
I agree with you on the bench part, that is a fantastic scene.
Thank you for sharing your reaction to this beautiful movie. I had a great time with it.
Since you asked for recommendations: The Green Mile (#79), The Shawshank Redemption (#2), Dances With Wolves (#59), Schindler’s List (#3). And there is so many great movies out there, I am sure you will have a great time by watching all of them.
You are going to be really good at this. Natural charisma for the camera.
I had a rough day at work, but watching you cheers me up! I can't stop smiling ☺️ 🙂
First time watching you.....That was an excellent reaction. Thank you!!
Glad I found your channel, your breakdown after edit is brilliant I really enjoy it. I can't wait to see your journey, I'm here for it!
Another great reaction. Love how you edit and research and comment at the end. You are doing something good with your life. Keep chasing your dreams.
What I really like, is that you react to what's happening and not so much commenting on technical details that some other reaction people do.
Nice reaction. I've loved this movie from the very first time I watched it in the late 90s. The movie has stood the test of time.
Delightful! You remind me so much of my daughter-in-law. You have the same accents and speech patterns, AND she's "wicked smaaht". BTW, your hair is beautiful!
One of my very favorite Robin Williams' performances. RIP
...never been here before... but I never miss a chance at a GWH react... especially when I see the reactor is a young person... and this reactor... with all that crazy nervous banter... chatter all the way... then... complete silence, and a slightly gaped jaw at Robin's famous monologue.... and in that moment... Whimsory was pure reaction gold... everything one could hope for!
...then at the I Don't Love You line Whimsory perfectly responds with "Hard to watch! That hurts. Why would he say that?" ...really great stuff.
...and yet at the 'It's not your fault, it's not your fault, it's not your fault.' moment of truth -- no tears!?! So...
Whimsory saved it with her great post react commentary. Very good indeed!
Quick suggestion. Try and position yourself off-center of the camera so that when you superimpose the movie, you're not cut off in the reaction. Great reaction and breakdown 👍
One of the important messages of this movie that many miss is what Robin Williams' character was trying to say to the math professor: Talented people who pursue that talent but aren't passionate or excited about it end up discontented and unfulfilled. It's better to "waste" your talent than to waste your life.
Theres no kind of sad like Robin Williams sad. It just punches you right in the heart.
Stelan is an amazing actor. I seen this movie at the theater with my dad. It is one of my favorite movies and still to this day. At the end of the movie when Robin Williams says that son of a b*tch stole my line. That was improvised by Robin. They kept it in the movie. Ben Affleck and Matt Damon wrote this film. Robin got an academy award for this film. Matt Damon and Ben Afflack got an academy award for writing this film too
Will wasn't really worried she would be boring, he was just using that as an excuse so he didn't have to face the fact he was afraid he would eventually have to let her know all the messed up parts of his life, and even more afraid she wouldn't accept him when she knew them. Him saying that is just a way to deflect and not have to face a challenge.
Awesome reaction! It was fun to watch, and you have some super insightful thoughts. Thanks for sharing them with us!
One of my all time favorite films and Robin Williams performance in this is one of my all time favorite performances from any actor, period. You should check out Louis CK's free clip of his Sorry standup he has on youtube. He does a great bit about the "how do you like them apples" scene.
Also, on a side note. Did you film this after filming a commercial for some kind of hair product or something?? Your hair looked stellar for someone just sitting around watching a movie in a baseball cap :D
"I've never done anything with my life" -- we're here watching you! You've done something already!
I know you've gotten tons of recommendations, but if you're interested in another film written by the same person starring in it, you should check out "Rocky." Written by Sylvester Stallone, and he was super broke (had to sell his dog) but wouldn't agree to selling the rights to the movie unless he was also the lead. It's become a classic.
And he bought his dog back :)
Love this one! "The Sixth Sense" next
Keep up with this because it will pay off in the long run! You're doing great, and I love the way you're doing this randomly and not like the others who are pretty much filtering each other.
Love the reaction and commentary
I'm really fond of your reactions and how you pick the movies! If you stick with it, I suppose the only time it'd need tweaking is if you pick a sequel to a movie you haven't seen. Normally that's pretty obvious but maybe not so much with some entries like The Dollars Trilogy, each with somewhat different names. :)
A few things in life have happened - or not - in recent years that make this movie mean a lot more to me; Will reminds me of someone I've known. On top of that, watching along with your reaction and thoughts this time, Will and Sean also reminded me of a pair of characters from the Last Airbender series, odd as that may sound, haha. Anyway, thank you for the beautiful reaction!
Great reaction to a great movie. So far, picking random movies from the list has worked for you. I wish you were able to do reactions twice a week (or even more often) and then I would suggest alternating using a list for random picks and using viewer suggestions. Although after looking at the IMDB list it seems very low on comedies and musicals which are some my favorites (especially for reactions).
As has been pointed out by other commenters, using viewer suggestions could lead to mostly the same films being reacted to by most other reactors which may bring more views (which may be good for growing your channel because they are very popular) but there are only so many times I want to watch reactions to any particular movie so I'm hopeful for some different movies getting reactions.
There's over 100 years of movies to pick from and the vast majority of reactions are from the past 50 years or so leaving a lot of older movies with few if any reactions. I also know that older films don't attract as many views but I still hope to see more of them.
love this movie. the premise is simple but the casting, writing, and performances are so good
Omg I cannot wait for you to do eternal sunshine, one of my favourite movies ever. Nothing compares to that first time watching it and I love getting to sort of relive or share that through reactors.
And hell yeah Danny Elfman, nightmare before Christmas is one of the best soundtracks ever
"Son of a b***h, stole my line." That was an ad lib by Robin.
13:38 IMO, one of the best set of lines of all time in film.
You’re the best at what you do. I watxh reacotrs all the time and you’re easily the best at it.
I love that you watch it a second time and then give your reaction.
Wonderful reaction. Subbed.
28:55 that was an untrue statement. You arw actually accomplishing something doing these videos. You're a good entertainer and reactor. You make alot of people smile. You are very good at this. Great Reaction ad always. Keep them coming. Thanks for the reaction
Stick with the random picks. The top 250 will cast a pretty wide net for viewers. Plus, the MCU, LotR, and Star Wars have been reacted to death on RUclips.
I can tell your cat REALLY liked this movie.
Really love your reactions keep it up.
17:50: Well, the spilling is the punchline... 🤣
This feeling to remember all. must be so hard.
Alright, I'm on board, I subbed. I dig your energy.
Okay, here's a few movies that I would recommend that I haven't seen others channels watch yet
Cool Hand Luke
Heathers
Falling Down
Two classics and one that should be better known.
Good luck with the channel.
Yellowstone fans... the 4th guy in the car is Cole Hauser.
Rip is the man!
Yes, all the math is real. The actor playing Tom, the professor's assistant, in real life is one of the most important mathematicians in Canada and was in the movie to make sure the math made sense.
Movie - My parents are dead.
Whimsory - Oh lucky you.
🤣
Wow, not many videos on this channel yet but you are hitting some amazing films (this one being a particular favourite of mine). Looking forward to many more. 👍✌❤
You have a gorgeous cat, by the way. Is it a Maine Coon? 😻
So.. scouring my memory for a self sabotaging protagonist in a movie I came up with Danny Zucco (John Travolta) and his relationship with Sandy in the movie Grease. A movie I really hope is on your best movie list your going off of because I think a lot of people would love to see you react to it. 😎❤️🙏
Whimsory your'e awsome! 😉👍🏼
I think Will is afraid of Skylar rejecting him, not becoming boring. Great reaction! Please do more random picks, it's a good system and nice to have variety. I'd recommend The Castle or The Dish, great Australian films :)
also in case you missed it, the 12 names he mentioned were the kids he knew in the orphanage that he was in
Never heard that before, but makes sense. Where did that come from, or did you make it up?
@@jowbloe3673 lol it's a logical conclusion, when you live in an orphanage, all the orphans become your "brothers" and "sisters" so his brothers are the kids he grew up with silly
@@gregc6107 - Makes perfect sense, but in all the times I've seen this it never occurred to me.

Makes move sense that he was actually referring to his real-life "brothers".
@@jowbloe3673 he also said 3 of them live with him. Kids from the orphanage
@@gregc6107 - Well, that's another reason why I thought he made it up because that wasn't true.
Holy Grail I'd seen, and I at least knew a fair bit about Terminator due to pop culture osmosis, but this one I knew literally nothing about aside from occasionally seeing the title. I also only know Matt Damon from a joke: Jimmy Kimmel used to end every show by saying "apologies to Matt Damon, we ran out of time". And now I think I'm going to have to watch the full movie soon! Thank you sm for doing this, and looking forward to seeing where we go next!
The edit with that dude in the window at 9:13 😂😂
Yes it actually means something, they're cancelling algebraic terms in a quotient that counts/enumerates a property of the triangular graph (a kind of map) on the left.
Your synopsis of the movie was excellent ... not many pick up on the "love" Wills friends have for him, they aren't envious of him and they want him to reach his full potential ... You're right about the bench speech, it's amazing ... One thing you are wrong about is your "self-doubt" ! You have accomplished something, you've built an excellent YT channel with 15.5 K subs in a short time with some excellent movie reactions & reviews (ok, I've only seen 3 but I would imagine they're all good !) ... Yes, Robin Williams was an amazing actor / comedian /person, it's tragic what he went through in the last few years of his life. If you get chance, I'd love to see you react to 'Dead Poets Society' with Robin W. in fact I'll throw down a challenge to you, to produce the best ever reaction to it ... I think you probably can !
Yes, the maths is real. Some of it looks a lot more complicated than it actually is. The first problem Lambeau puts up as a challenge is a very complex series of equations related to graph theory. The second problem, the trees, isn't actually that difficult and I think most people could solve it if they had the basics of Cayley's formula explained to them. Which is funny considering the movie presents it as the harder proof.
Haven't watched GWH since Robin took his life, still painfully sad, RIP good soul
I loved your reaction, I’m on board for the future!
Williams got the Oscar for the role
Ben and Matt got one for writing
Never judge a home by the outside. My friend Ron used to live in a home that looked like it should be torn down. Once you walked in it was amazing, but because he lived in the hood he never wanted it to look like some place that would get robbed.
Will Hunting is an INTP-T, one of the 16 MBTI personalities in this world. Professor Lambeau is an ENTJ, Sean is an INFP, Chuckie is an ESTP. Look into the MBTI 16 personalities. Your reactions are so much fun!
I like your hat, it reminds me of my hat
Hey Whimsory, It's so funny watching you call Ben Affelck "his dumb friend" the entire movie only to find out that Ben Affleck along with Matt Damon wrote the script. Trust me it was mind blowing for me to know that when the movie first debuted. -------- And yes the bench monologue by Robin Williams is gut wrenching and heartbreaking for sure. Great reaction on your part. Keep em coming. P.S. I hope you react to Terminator 2 really soon.
Uses the floating math meme just before watching the floating movie floating math intro
Robin Williams did that park bench scene in one take!
Absolutely delightful reaction, thank you.
Another movie with Matt Damon you have to add is The Marsian.
It's not as emotionally deep as this movie but it's still a good movie
You are definitely my new favorite reactress.
Consider Top Gun (So you can do Top Gun: Maverick) and then maybe John Wick?
Please?
