I work at a homeless shelter in Wichita Falls, Texas. The stories... Thank you for recognizing that people...ALL people are worthy of being treated right regardless!! I also work part time doing food deliveries to pay for an upcoming surgery. You know what, I love what I do. I tell my boss at the Refuge that I’m going to work here till I die 😀

Have you tried working at Walmart or try getting a job at any of the facilities or dialing 311 they also give out free phones if you qualify for certain benefits if you're on food stamps or Medicaid you qualify but I would also look into Walmart CVS Target or even better yet here's the solution you can get a job at the hotel working and that way the manager could actually also put you up in a room for a time being until you get on your feet I wish you all the best and I hope that you find a nice warm place to lay your head jabbar from Philadelphia.

When my car died I borrowed an old truck from a family member for transportation till I bought a new car that weekend. When I pulled in the salesmen stuck their noses up and ignored me except one man that had a ponytail around 60 years old. I picked out my brand new car all while seeing the asshole salesmen snickering. I went in the sales office and when asked how I was going to pay for my $20,000 car ( back in 1997 ) I said with cash. The salesman walked out n told the jerks about my paying cash. I heard one of them say " he has that much money " ? Loved when their smiles disappeared.

I looked at all the comments but I wonder how many people were truly stop and just talk to homeless person and show them kindness and compassion. Actions always do speak louder than words. In the winter time I gather blankets together for the homeless and most of the time they're alone people walk past them like they were invisible. So sad kind of world we live in today
