[Mysterious ancient path] Walking along the mountainside path from Omiwa Shrine to Sai Shrine and Hibara Shrine
Introducing a walk along Japan's oldest road, ``Yamanobe no Michi,'' which goes from Omiwa Shrine in Sakurai City, Nara Prefecture to Sai Shrine and Hibara Shrine. Yamabe no Michi is one of the oldest roads in Japanese history, appearing in the Kojiki and Nihon Shoki, and there are temples and shrines lined up along the road. We introduce the history and highlights of each shrine, as well as the beautiful natural scenery at the foot of Mt. Miwa.
