@@luna-mt7sf i feel like watching the drama for him is honestly worth it. he's an important support character (so he isn't a main character) but his character development is pretty interesting. near the middle of the series, we see him less however (he comes back near the end).
i think you should definitely give this series a shot! and i don't doubt you'll end up falling in love with all the other characters as well !! ☺️

The first time I saw this guy was in Showterview and dang, it's cool how he transforms into a villainous character when during interviews his smiles were all cute and innocent haha.

he was ignored and treated badly by his father. The only thing he wanted from him was his affection. So he took out all this hatred on other people (which shouldn't be a reason to hurt others).
But in the end, when he saw who really cares about him, he started to change. He apologized for his actions and I really hope he stays in the season 2. I found his character very interesting.
I really wish he's there in season 2 I hated him at the beginning but he's become my favourite even though he's actually kind of a minor character 😭😭😭

Now that season 2 has started to air, I don't think we will get to see his character again:( maybe just maybe we will in the future episodes but I feel like he isn't gonna be shown in the show anymore:(
If there's 2nd season for this series, I really hope he can comeback and join the team as a fellow counter. Maybe has the healing power like the ahjuma. Just my own imagination 😁
I hate him so much in the beginning of the series but sad when he decided to go at the end. He isn't a bad person to the core. Just a kid with a bad parenting. With a little guidance and he'll be just fine

I really want him back. To have a proper redemption arc. And I do want him to have a healing ability too. It’d be poetic in a way. He used to hurt people and his counter ability ends up being healing. However I’m not sure that if he does come back in the second season it’d be as a counter. Maybe their guy-in-the-chair? I feel like they set that up in the last few episodes. He was looking for work that also had accommodations. And I can near guarantee that any possible employers will turn him away because of his Dad. So where does that leave him? We know Mrs. Chu has a soft spot and spending time with the team could show him how a family truly acts.

Actually I didn't like Hyeoku, because he was bully and done so much bad things, but after knowing what kind of father he has it's really difficult to expect better person.
He didn’t have guidance in life, and also (seen in later episodes) he was threaten by collage student who wanted money. It doesn't give him rights to bully people but it helped me to understand him.
After SoMun helped him, he started to realize that what he is doing is bad.
I love his character development

@@augusnyne5406 i do not record the videos! on instagram, there are a lot of accounts who specializes in making scene packs (basically a file with a bunch of video clips of different scenes). You need to only use those clips for editing purposes and credit the accounts you take the clips from, but if you're looking to make an edit, it's really easiest way. In the description of this video, i wrote where i got the clips from ! hope it helped !!

i never hated him coz i knew there gotta be some reason if a person is like that and later on when we found out about how his dad treats him i started to love him more
it would have been very cool if Shin-hyuk-woo would fight the demon himself as in resist the urge to fight off the counters, would have reflected more on his personality. The series itself was a masterpiece in itself.

True, and it is even explained in the drama that only "bad" people can be possessed. However, life isn't all black and white, and Hyeoku has shown that he wanted to become better. I don't think anyone who genuinely wants to get better can be called "evil". Their actions were evil, but not themselves as a person.
