I've had that happen 2 times for the signature for food. Caught me off guard. Not sure why doordash had me collect a signature both times but yeah didn't like that. I also get irritated with waiting on an order in a restaurant while I watch customers order food and then leave before me with the food they ordered. Panera near me & almost every McDonald's around here are notorious for doing that.
Signature required means you're delivering to a problem customer most likely they have reported missing items or never receiving so I don't necessarily find it annoying helpful in the end since that particular customer is most likely been a scammer in the past
I enjoy watching your videos! I like seeing what my fellow dashers experience! I decided to start recording my journeys and create a RUclips channel of my own, Deliver To The Hungry. I'm learning and ordered a new Lenovo laptop to edit my footage. Keep up the good work buddy!
i hate when I get blamed for their not being any silverware or when I had a customer roll her eyes and snatch the bag out of my hands or when I was hit by a car or when my wallet was stolen because I forgot to lock my car doors while I was delivering, I was also followed by a group of men during one of my delivers, Over all not worth it depending on your area!!
u forgot the part where they give u double orders and one is no tip and the other is decent and then they get out of paying u base pay on the no tip order too cus they only give u base pay for 1 of the orders so essentially u get nothing for the no tip order
Main thing i hate about DD is acceptance rate they try to trick you into taking the same offers i get with a 14 percent acceptance rate accept you get a diamond
(#1) Customer needs a Signature for Food??? 🥴😵💫 I think I have gotten this one a few times. I was like 😳 when I first saw that. I actually called support and told them about it the first time, they removed it on that particular delivery...But I still got a couple more on different occasions after that. 🥴 (#2) Delivery time not Adjusted... What I do immediately when I get to a pickup spot is scroll down on the app where the info about the pick up is and tap on "tell us what's going on". There's an option to say, "Order still being prepared"..."Order not started yet"..."Order not here", etc. Once one of those is selected, if you choose to wait , Doordash doesn't hold that against you when you get to your drop off, so it's not marked against you as being late cause it wasn't your fault. (#3) Out of Zone Deliveries... I'm really not a fan of these 😵💫🥴 they make no sense. Why is Doordash sending folks out of their zone in the first place??? 😝🙄😒 And, if DoorDash is gonna do that, then it makes PERFECT sense to have pickups ready to take them back into their zone. Now, I do get pickups going back here and there, but often those pickups are taking me further back away from my zone. WTF!! 😳🙃🤪 (#4) Hide Apt/ Unit... I don't get those. Just just hate it when a customer doesn't give details about what kind of building they are in, and how to get to them. This is where Doordash should have an option to forgive the drivers for a late delivery. 🤨 (#5) Walk In Client's Order First... I see this often and I think it has more do with how people behind the counter are running the place. They probably are more intimidated by people yelling in their face about their orders (wrong, incorrect, cold, late), than Doordashers merely coming to pickup. Again, this is were I use the option to say what's going on..." Order not started yet", "Store is Busy", "Order Still Being Prepared". 😜
could you make a video about income tax for door dash income? plz explain how we subtract the gas we spent from gross income . how to calculate net income, the total income minus the gas for one year

u can unassigned orders after waiting 10min from your pick up by time, without any worry to your completion rating.

Sorry to hear 🥲
bad area maybe drive to a good area and stick there

also if its a high paying order theyll let u unassign with no penalty if u wait for more then 5 mins but if its a bad order they never offer that
👍👍👍

No prob 👍🏾🤜🏾
Number 3 is the worst , too much time to get back to your zone 😮
Yea, I think orders should only be within the zone and not out of zone

For this one, I just let my tax person do it. 👍
