I have re-calculated everything. For BW above 3Mhz and which are a multiple of 5, for example 5Mhz, 10, 15 and 20MHz, you take the guard space as 10% of the entire BW. Then you remove this Guard band from the BW and divide it by the 180 KHz and you would get the exact RB for the LTE specifications. Thank you for highlighting it :)
Hi is there any specific reason y the location of PSS and SSS is fixed in one subframe, like PSS is FDD can be in a different loocation ,please let me know
Can you tell us where you are getting that formula for Guard band calculations. LTE talks about 100 PRBs for 20 Mhz block. We are seeing 110 based on your formula. Appreciate a response.
Hi I have got one doubt with respect the the cell search during the cell search how Ue comes to know whether the pss is in the last symbol of slot 0 and 10 and the preceding symbol is SSS..is it like PSS and Sss sequences are pre known to Ue during cell search procedure and then it validates slot 0 and 10 please clarify ?
If we calculate with this formula the result is 26, 54 and 110 RBs for 5Mhz 10 Mhz and 20 Mhz respectively while the standard is 25, 50 and 100 resource blocks for 5, 10 and 20 MHz. Can you please explain?
Thanks for the wonderful knowledge sharing I have one doubt How one complete radio frame can be transmitted over a lower Bandwith system like 1.4/3/5 MHZ As I understand 1 subframe =2 slot; 1slot =1RB ( 12 Subcarrier in frequency domain and 7 OFDM symbol (NCP) time domain ) having a duration of 0.5 ms . So 6 RB = 3ms Now as per your lession one frame=10ms , then how canwe transmit it over 6RB(3ms)/1.4MHz bandwidth ???
why sub carrier is 12 and not any other value ? i found so many video and document saying RB=12*15khz= 180 khz but no where give reason why sub carrier is 12 only ?
Bro,, I saw one video about PRB, that video saying in time domain there is 7 symbols and in frequency domain there is 12 subcarriers and all of this is 1 RB, but you are saying frequency domain 1 subcarrier and time domain is 7 symbol???

best LTE teaching video i have seen for a while on youtube. Really appreciated
Thanks for the feedback :)
A big thumbs up. Very well explained Sir!!!
Thanks for liking
Your channel is the channel I have been waiting for. Good explanation and in depth. Thank you for this and thank you for teaching this from scratch!
Thanks for your feedback and We wish that our videos continue to benefit you. Please do provide your feedback in ways we can make it better
Well explained and easy to understand. Thx
thank you so much
Can you please tell the 3gpp TS in which the Guard band formula is mentioned?
will need to look for it. Hopefully will include in one of my next videos.
Thank you so much for your wonderful tutorial, really helped for my project for final year :)
Thanks Malika for your feedback. We hope you get an A in your FYP :)
@@WinInk Please, Can you use a microphone? Thanks a lot.

It is for giving the UE the best chance to decode the network info and camp on it.
Hello Sir Please Make a detailed video over LTE, Volte & NR CALL Flow🙏
VoLTE videos are already there - Will try to make one for LTE and NR -

Hi Kiran. You are right. I will check and get back with the correction. Thanks for highlighting it.

Hi Arun. This needs a long description. Would definitely include them in one of the next videos.
Thanks a lot waiting for that 😀
@@WinInk please share this, we are searching for this

Thank you so much for your wonderful explanations, like this the same support need for MAC, RLC & PDCP layers for better understandings..
Glad it was helpful! Would try my best to help with other videos

Excellent sir ji
Thanks :)
Why 1RB contains only 12 subcarrier. Is it standard in LTE.
Yes it is
Excellent video. Which is the video next to this one?
Thanks. Please go the video section of the channel.
Thanks for the wonderful knowledge sharing

Thanks a lot, your video has really helped me, can you please make a video about resource allocation in LTE with more details, I really need it.
Sure will try to upload some more videos in Feb.
Thanks sir for your videos
Most welcome
good job bro

Its a 3GPP specification. Why its 12? 3GPP researchers would have decided on this after careful considerations.
can u do the calculation for Bw20 mega

Yes that is correct
A very clear explanation, but the voice is a bit low. Any way, thank you very much :-)
You're welcome
Thanks for the simplest explanation!.. could you please make a video on RF impairments and mitigation methods ?!!
Sure. Would you elaborate a little more on what you are actually looking for.
Your explanation is highly impressive but the voice is really low , Kindly try to fix this in your forthcoming videos
have tried to fix the audio in the recent videos
Great
